I was shopping for a GTS as soon as I found out about new 911 going turbo. Found one on line at that dealer but I hesitated and the car sold. Since I managed to negotiate a nice discount with them on that car, they honored the same discount on another car that I found 300 miles away. They did a dealer trade and delivered the car to my house, it was middle of winter. Plus I got a much better deal than what was offered by dealer that had the car, great guys, Phil the general manager is the the real deal.
I will vouch for both Malachy and Phil. I bought two 911s from them and know them personally as I used to live in Ridgefield CT just a few miles from the dealership. Their techs are awesome too!
Okay, let me try again. Hello all P fans! I'm very happy to be here and I appreciate all the valuable insight you guys have provided since I started "lurking" a few weeks ago. I've had trouble with the "member" interface and have tried multiple times to pay for a membership. Must be my computer. I'll keep trying because as I said in my last post, you guys are the ****, and I would love to find the right ride in the next month or so.

Important lessons for any new guys.
1. Go back and read as much as you can here. Nobody became a doctor with a one week cliffs notes class.
2. Find out what you're looking for and be somewhat flexible.
3. Learn where to do searches and do them daily.
4. Don't expect to find your car next door. With all the variables and somewhat limited nature of the 991, shop nationwide. You're not shopping for a Honda.
5. When that special car pops up at a fair price, jump on it. Too many stories of "just missed it". It could be a LONG time before your special unicorn appears again.
6. Have fun and don't get too discouraged. I know it's tough sometimes.
