Just a comment on Manhattan Porsche. I observed many of their listing pictures do not correlate with the model and options as described, e.g C4S description, but obviously C2S - we all know what the missing rear centre light bar means! I am sure you will do your homework, but just pointing out what I noticed. Been there a few times as I am close. Did they move to their new location yet (Upper West Side area)?

No problem!! Sometimes there just tends to be some unrealistic expectations on the boards here

Happy bday HFS! My car goes on the truck Friday morning for the long journey (ATL--->SEA). So far have been super impressed w/ Gene @ Jim Ellis Porsche. Didn't find my car on the thread but got smart on pricing and got the intro to Gene. Thanks to all for contributions.

Pro tip: If a car you're looking for is missing addable options (eg: PSE) - remember that economic value to you is different than the cost to the dealer. Negotiate for PSE install before delivery - everybody wins.

On first glance, it looks pretty good.

One-owner car, been on sale for about six weeks.

In fact, the price seems too good. $95K seems appropriate for a 2014 model, not a 2015. Probably find out that the first owner was a mob hitman or something...

I saw this car and test drove it. Passed initially but when I called back to test drive again they said it was sold, and that was two weeks ago.

Gene - is it too late to renegotiate?
If I could have got it for you any cheaper, I would have!

STG. Congratulations and many thanks for a fantastic year. You've provided a major service to many recent and future 991S owners. Including me. Loving my 991 and you were a fantastic help, both with my background education and with the details of the purchase of my car.

See your post from day one? Awesome you finally found your car recently.

Amazing that once someone gets into a 991, they're hooked! I hear over and over how much guys love their cars. Seems to be a long time coming for most and not a quick impulse buy.

So many options and variations to the 991. Great that guys can find that "special one"! Base/S/GTS, Black/Red/etc., PDK/Manual, Coupe/Cab, 2/4, they're all good!

"Happy Anniversay" STG! Hardly seems like a year. I wonder which is a faster read - your entire thread or a Reacher novel? I know which one is more enjoyable!

Keep up the good work!

Thoughts on this one if certified for the same price?:

http://www.momentumporsche.com/used/...6a8b16167d.htm

Seems like almost 50K off MSRP and it has 11K on it...PSE, PDCC, premium plus w/14-ways and sport chrono. Only things I don't love are manual (daily driver) and lack of 18-way/leather.
