this one just popped up near me, mileage is high but i imagine it being a 4s with cf interior bits and high options overall might make it desirable. autocheck gives it a 92 also.

Agreed. Looks great externally. I’m not a fan of the beige & mahogany interior either. Looks like it sold for $60k.

This is a tasty driver’s build:

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...0148/overview/

X51, MT, 4-ways, Burmester, no sunroof.

Somebody needs to buy it before the end of the month or I might have to drag it up from FL, and then get in serious trouble.

I will admit that this is not necessarily a HFS ad but it is my car that I bought new and it has always been garaged, dealer serviced following Porsche schedule, etc. and you will know who you are buying the car from and its history which has to be worth something.

You can call me at 301.257-1238 if you want to discuss the car.

Any thoughts on this 2017 Porsche 911 S Endurance Racing Edition from the Vehicle Markeplacet? Seems like a decent buy for basically a new car.

$40K (26%) off of MSRP for a 3-year old car with only 400 mile seems very fair. They don't appear to be trying to upsell it because of the "ERE" and the Prev Owner actually removed most of the decals.

If it really has entry and drive (listed in the options by the dealer), I wonder why they have the actual key fob in the ignition. Anyone contemplating purchasing this car should make sure it has the standard "blank" key fob that E&D cars are supposed to have.

that is a hellova deal imo. And Doug at Switchcars is one of the best. Top notch seller that you can confidence in. Specializes in 997 GT3 cars and is well known here on Rennlist, and in our enthusiast community.

Hey guys, with any of these "listings" or "leads" please include VIN # and details like asking $ and mileage. Pics work great too. Just posting this is a nice car with a link does NOTHING for any future value as a resource here. Links go DEAD and will be of NO help for future reference. We've mentioned this 991,000 times but is still happening.

Thanks.

Wow, when you've been around here a while these cars come back out of the woodwork. How I remember some of these cars, I don't even know!

Nice that we're able to TRACK THEM (hint, hint).

This car was Money $$ Matt's (now aka Obsessed Garage) car from back in 2014 that he ordered new. He eventually sold it because it developed the dreaded "stumble" issue.

He really loved this car (as he does with all of his cars) and (literally) obsesses over them ... hence the success with his business.

Nice build sheet. But this car was driven 60k miles in 5 years in Michigan which probably means it was driven in rough winter conditions. Was also sold at auction 8 months ago, failed emissions, then required 1 month and 650 miles before it passed emissions...and is already for sale again 6 months later. Some red flags with the history report.

SwitchCars has a pretty good reputation, and the sport options on the car are definitely nice...

I must say the new "endurance edition" cars are much nicer than the previous generation which had truly hideous graphics. I don't know that I'd pay a penny extra for the endurance package, but the $15K package price seems fully adjusted in their ask price. Sport package is great (RWS, SC, SE, some trim bits), SPASM, carbon interior, all nice options. A bit of a mystery why they didn't opt for 18-way (or even 4-way) Sport + seats.

And of course if it was a manual, it would be truly a drivers spec...

...ok, I take that back. Looks like the 991.2 endurance addition also came with hideous graphics, but looks like they were removed on the above example? Good call!

From the listing: "and the owner chose to remove the graphics from the hood and roof for a more subtle appearance."

I posted about this one earlier when it was $62.5k few months ago...before that it was listed at $64k. Wonder what kinda issues it has. Is anyone able to check it out in person? What would cause emissions issues? Possibly failure to do 40k maintenance (plugs, filter, etc)?
