PASS!!!
I didn't see any CarFax link. Did anyone? Probably has a surprise or two I'd guess. Maybe not.

Anyway, nice find and lead!

Should have spec'd sport chrono instead of 18 ways.

Now back to the detailing thread

I called the dealer, and the first words out his mouth were "flood damaged", after I asked for a copy of the CarFax.

Not all dealer cars are free from that either.
thats true, I can attest to that

but, although I've bought lots of regular cars and always done pretty well, thanks to this thread I'm learning about Porsches and won't get taken

As a note of reference, when these 911's do end up at many of these non-brand independent dealers, there's usually a reason for it. Usually an auctioned car.

Can you find a nice one say at a BMW dealer? Sure. Many Porsche owner trade for other high end brands.

I'd be cautious of the ones that end up at places like "Lucky's Luxury Car Emporium".

Even after leases are up, most dealers buy out and hold onto the nice ones. Dealers have a hard enough of a time finding good used inventory as is.

Off leases from Porsche Financial I've seen listed to be auctioned off usually have some cosmetic damage that need new bumpers or paint repairs.

This is where I bought my car from. Terd is a great guy to deal with. He discounted the fabric protection on the seats by 50% after I pointed out they were leather. What a guy!

OK folks, I'm looking but this will surely be beyond my means. For all that is good and holy in this world, let's get an RL'r to step up and buy this car. An example like this in PTS and a manual is beyond difficult to find. It will be at auction 3/22 from PCNA.

Just wondering why the VIN does not show the build sheet! Perhaps this is one of those "track" cars that Porsche use at their Atlanta facility. The Manheim Auction is also at Atlanta and PCNA are selling!
