Always negotiate. I agree with being reasonable with your expectations, but I personally also expect the seller to be reasonable. Some sellers think that just because it’s a P car they can get away with everything. In my search I came across a 2014 C2S, 60k miles with salvage title and they were asking $90k. GTFO. There are people that don’t care about value for money, but I personally don’t fall into that category. Some people pay double MSRP to have a C8 Z06. To each their own

Always think of the hidden costs. Has 60k mile service been done? ($3200 at a dealer), how old are the tires? If older than 6 years you need a new set which is another $2k. This particular car has Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control. Porsche recommends replacing the PDCC reservoir at 60k and that will run you at least another $1500. Welcome to expensive maintenance for high performance cars. These are no Toyota Camry or the like.

What do y'all reckon this is worth? 2014 Turbo with 57k miles. I know I wouldn't pay over $95k for it. A maxed out Turbo S with similar miles sold on BaT recently for $95k. I might go have a look. Love my 991.1 C4S but it lacks low end punch at higher elevations out here. I highly doubt they will negotiate that far below asking price but they've been sitting on it for a bit now.

Get a Fidelity warranty while the miles are low. Great warranty that actually pays out, and with a PPI you can prove things weren't broken before.

Thanks! I was planning on that. I have it on my Cayenne for peace of mind but haven't needed to use it yet. I am wondering what a reasonable price is for this GTS. The dealer will be replacing the tires and battery for me as part of our negotiation. Brakes are almost brand new.

Being MT adds a good ~10-20% to it's value; being a cab lowers its. Being relatively low milage adds some back! I think the price is a bit high as-is, personally, but MT GTS are fairly rare. But price could be augmented by great condition and trade in offer.

Just missed out on a 2015 manual GTS Coupe with an original msrp of $155k. 48k miles and they were asking just over $96k if that helps.

I appreciate the input, I was hoping to find something in the high 90s but quickly realized that's almost impossible given the criteria that I have and below 25k miles. I was able to reduce the price by over $5k and they will be replacing the tires and battery.

Wow that seems like a great price. I am specifically looking for a 1hite cab though with less than 25k miles.

Lol...yeeeup. Went down there this weekend to check it out..I was shocked it still showed available on their website. Didn't bother to call about availability as we were heading down there anyway. Sounds like it went to Oregon. Did you grab it?

I understand that but manual GTS's are rare so even though not apples to apples, the coupes do command higher prices so just thought I'd throw out that data point as it'll be hard to find other comparisons.

Nah. I’m with Nick Murray and despise Alcantara. Still looking for a C4S preferably a manual, but I’m not in a rush. I’ll wait for the right car to come along.

+1000% with you on the alcantara. I'm considering a GT4 as well and the 981's are bathed in it. Yuck...
I'll keep my eyes and ears peeled for you. I'm not in a rush either. It's the best way to be really if you want that perfect one 😉

Default Looking to buy my first Porsche, what do you think?

https://vinanalytics.com/car/WP0AB2A92HS123788/

I am in process of negotiations, at around $83K, has 50K miles but will be CPO, they are offering me either CPO+1 for $3K or a 5-year for $5.5K, I think I'm getting a pretty good deal, just curious on your guys thoughts.
