Found a 2014 C4S with 60k on the odometer. Car needs a bunch of maintenance: spark plugs, drive belt, aw drive controller oil, oil change etc. The driver side front cv boot is torn and needs replaced as well as a new battery. Car is reasonably well equipped. Offered at $68k. Is that about market these days? Still feels a bit high given the mileage.

Very well equipped! Not a crazy price to me at least. Based on watching for this exact car for some time now and relative to what I ended up buying. I haven't seen anything better for a 991.1 4S. The next best thing would be a 991.2 4S at ~$90k. Lower mileage 991.1 run about ~$80k+, and I'd opt for 991.2 at that point.

I'd want that maintenance done up front though, probably >$3k worth.

You’d be lucky to get all that work done for less than $5k, imo

Possibly so. I’m speaking from recent experience of doing almost the exact same set of things. Spark plugs, air filter, oil, belt, cv boots x2, battery. It was somewhere north of $3k, I’ve aimed to forget it as I felt stupid for not counting on these things before buying.

Was this done at an Indy shop? Prices seem to vary greatly. Estimate from an Indy for the cv boot was $900 estimate from Porsche dealer was $2500. 60k service was quoted at $3500 from the dealer. Battery another $1k.

that’s crazy! Yes, Indy, the tech has 20 years at a Porsche dealer so I felt good about it.

I did the battery myself though, it took 30 minutes. $1k is robbery. And hood struts they wanted something crazy for.. took me 5 minutes.

The mileage is high by at least 30k but more like 38k. I figure somewhere around a buck a mile. So to me if the car is worth $115k with CPO mark it down at least $30k. I'd say $85k. Also, it does not have the GTS package. That really dresses up the interior.

14-ways too, gotta have the 18's! Higher mileage CPO cars are a great value when priced right.

what do you all think about this one? Seems like its in a good shape for high mileage but its been in minor accident.
is pdk concern on these cars if I want to track it 2-3 weekends a year? (I just started to look at 911s, didn’t get a chance to learn everything about them yet)

It looks like a decent deal to me. The carfax has a dent in it, but the price reflects that I think. The corner of the front bumper needs to be fixed. Otherwise I did not see further problems with it but a more eagle-eyed fellow enthusiast could chime in here, as well

Since this car has PDCC you might be looking at expensive service if the 60k service hasn’t been performed yet. Add $3500 if done by a dealer for 60k service. Factor that into your negotiation. Also have them tell you the date of the tires not just how much is left on them. New set of Michelin 4s will run you another $2k. Otherwise looks like a great car.

Looks like a really nice spec and a gorgeous color. Go down and look at it if you're close by.

I talked to those guys (I'm up by Lowell) back when they had a '17 I was looking at, seemed a friendly bunch and got prompt answers from them.

Good luck!

The only thing that worries me is pdk … i read few threads today that it can be 20k to fix.

^^^ PDK is a robust transmission. Failures are few, but expensive. I track a PDK.
