Default also

From memory, it had also had a recent service ... like in March at the Porsche dealer...
I was asleep at the wheel on this one! Like I said I have not looked at 991's and my Indy was out of town so a PPI could not be arranged... and it sold the next day ... (at that price ofcourse it would)

Yeah, wonder if it has a story on Carfax. That's head scratchingly low.

It was yellow on blue, a pretty bold color palette for most people. I contacted the guy the day it went up on PCA, of course, but never heard a peep. Wild colors or not, it would have been snapped up by a dealer for resale in a heartbeat at that price.

Data point:

My 2016 GTS w/30k miles sold for 103k. Paid $93k in Oct 2019.

Could I have gotten more if I waited? Most likely.
Am I OK with what I got? Yup

Ugh, your car was PERFECT for me, the absolute perfect spec and a solid investment long term. Looks like you took really good care of it, too. Just wish my banker/wife had more vision. I'm lucky she gave me the budget she did; pushing it another $20k would have gotten a better car but 1 fewer wife. 🤣 Good for you listing and taking a fair price in this crazy market.

I've never cried over selling a car before (disclaimer: I am female) 🤣 I was kind of a mess yesterday as I washed it for the last time. If the buyer had backed out for some reason, I was gonna pull it off the market and keep it.

Needless to say when he saw it today, it went home with him. She was a beauty. He said even better in person than in photos.
The buyer had to work on his wife as well. Gosh don't you all wish you had wives who were car nuts just like you?? Lol! Fortunately my husband knows how lucky he is in that respect.

I hope the consolation of making a profit in such a short time on such a late model car was some consolation. It's not the norm, that's for sure! Still think you'll get that Emira?

And while I didn't marry a car enthusiast, I'm lucky she tolerates my enthusiasm! After maintaining aging BMWs for years, I'm hoping to have a relatively problem-free ownership period with the 991.

I wanted to ask you about the mats you had in your GTS; where are they from and would you recommend them?

It is a consolation, yes and no. I thought long and hard (at least I felt I did) before listing it. I finally decided to just rip the bandaid off, so to speak.

I still have my deposit down on the Emira, but it's gonna be a looooong wait. Already have my eye on a TTS, but I'm really trying to be patient. Not one of my gifts. Hahahha!

I've gotten several comments on my mats
https://www.manicci.com/product/mani...ar-mats-black/

I loved them and would get them again. The fitment is about 98% right, but overall the look and protection they offer is so worth the minor issues.
