Not that you should care but, when buying a car, if have doubts, questions etc. about if this is the right car I pass. My Father always said something better will come along and in those cases I have found that to be true. Kind of like women, if something just does not feel right move on. Good luck with the search.

Excellent advice, and the way I'm leaning. I did get them down to about $67k, which I believe is a pretty good price - but I'm also considering picking up a 2018-19 718 Cayman GTS, which would be about the same purchase price, and lower running costs. We also generally take the summers off, so I've got a few months to find something. Appreciate everyone's two cents...

Would I buy a car with the Rear panels resprayed unless I had pictures of very minimal damage and repair. One guy on here had like 25k in damage which looked like a crumpeled bumper

If it's just a track car, would it matter as much with the damage? I mean you're literally going to track the car, so whatever cosmetic damage shouldn't matter, right?

So long as I have some idea of what happened to it. The carfax indicates a hit to the right rear and the dealer supposedly called the Porsche shop that did the repair and it was “in a parking lot and less than $1000 repair”. However the left rear quarter panel has been painted and both engine mounts were later replaced. Unless that’s a thing with this generation, seems odd, and there are other cars out there.

Now if they want to sell it to me for $62k, then that’s another story!

Default $40K 165k miles 991 Base

so...how bad can it really be? my typical train of thought is that their is a price for everything. what's everyone's take on this? doubt i'll pull the trigger. i'm really hoping a sapphire blue or aqua blue 991 comes along soon.

This generation of 911 NA is really going the distance. If I were a mechanic and could drop in a used pdk or motor if necessary it would be a good buy. Also ideal for a track build.

I once bought a Porsche that was $10k cheaper than anything else on the market because it had high mileage. Once was all it took to learn, so I’m now shopping for a low-mileage replacement.

Hey y'all 911 experts!
I am loving my 23 Macan GTS and am new to Porsche, after 22 years of BMWs.

A friend of mine is thinking about selling his 2013 911 S Cabriolet (991.1) with 34k miles on it, CPO until April 2026.
The car looks flawless inside and out, not a single scratch/dent, inside, you cant even tell it was used. He takes care of his cars, although, he is the second owner of this 911.
Platinum silver on black leather. Prem package plus, 20" carrera sport wheels, sport exhaust, heated/cooled seats, heates steering wheel, rear parking sensors, 14-way sport seats...
PDK (though I wish it was the MT (since I have the Macan) but not mandatory)
He is thinking $65k.
What are your thoughts on this and any concerns I should look for (he has all the maintenance records)

I just bought a similar spec car yesterday with 41k miles and a cabriolet (more fun) for $74k if that helps.
