LCF - Autotempest is really easy to setup a search. Once you get through all the ads it gives you right on the Autotempest page, scroll all the way to the bottom (past all the FB ads) and you'll find Autotrader and Car Gurus with the exact same search criteria already plugged in. Simply click on them and you're in an entirely new website/search.

LCF and James - I don't understand the "midlife crisis." I've always wanted a 911, ever since I was young. I'm just able to finally pull the trigger. I was 51 when I did it. Plus, I'm a car guy through and through. Everyone that found out I was getting a 911 said it just fits.
Besides, I thought a survey showed that BMW were the douchiest drivers LOL! (yes, I have had and still have BMWs).

Is a douche = good??
As a teenager my “dream car” was a convertible BMW 3 series. Reality was my brothers hand me down VW Wolfsburg Edition cabriolet. Seems like fate was foreshadowing with the VW part. But that is if I can pull the trigger sometime soon on one of these 991s. So I hear you guys about the reality of it all with funds and spouses. I guess bottom line is I want to be douching around town with the top down. ... “rag top down so my hair can flow.... anything less than the best is a felony...”

Is it just me or are there no good .1 c2s out there? Everything sub 50k miles are close to $70k.

bro. Pay as much as you can for the best car available. If you’re quibbling over $5k, you shouldn’t be in the market

Actually quite the opposite. I want to spend the extra 20-25 for a TT instead now the gap between the two has closed.

This is "sub" 70k and good IMHO, but outside my budget: link

I have been watching for awhile. There are more cabs for sale between 45K and 60K but not coupe.
Unfortunately, I am not interested in a cab or I would have picked up one at a very good deal.

I looked at the carfax for this car and it has a very strange history. There is always a reason these dealer cars have lower pricing. Bad carfax, multiple owners, different states, multiple auctions. TG for carfax.

I don't know. It's not immaculate, but having two titles issued is not the end of the world. Other than that it looked clean to me. A PPI is probably better than just looking at the carmax.

Maybe I need to expand my criteria but I have not seen any C2S or C4S cabs for under $60k for the past few months that are under 50k miles. Please post here if you do bc I’d be very interested to buy it wherever it is in the country. Appreciate it!

2012 991.1 Base w Manual
I test drove this car yesterday. Drives well but not in the best shape. Both door panels need to be replaced and the passenger seat plastic hinge cover is cracked. Few rattles when driving, dirty seats, and some paint chips. The price seems good ($55,000) and only 24,000 miles but I'm on the fence with all the extra costs to fix the problems.
Can anyone tell me an approximate cost to fix the door panels and hinge cover?
