HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991
I just took delivery of this car.
It's absolutely beautiful in person. Not an S/GTS, but to me quite a nice car and a very exciting one as my first P car.
Is there any interest in me writing up what went into buying the car from a private party from across the country without seeing it?
Thanks for the tip, this thread is fantastic.

Awesome spec on your new Carrera! Love to see the 7spd manual there. Mine is a 17 manual slick top and I have done the soul exhaust/APR stg 1 tune. It is more powerful now than a stock GTS! But still has the linear power band and throttle response that comes from the small base turbo chargers.
I’m contemplating selling my chalk ‘19 C2 GTS and can use some inputs. It has following mods: COBB stage 2 tune + PDK tune, SOUL 200 cell cats, Kline headers, AWE wind deflectors, Akra carbon fiber rear diffuser, clear side markers, window tint, and SUNTEK PPF (front, hood, side skirts, and rear fenders).
My question is, do majority of buyers prefer the car to be in stock form( ie. OE cats, headers, no tune)?

I'm going to end up with 315 rear tires before I get the tune. Plus, I may go with Sport Cup 2 tires for added traction, but am curious to know how the car handles the added power.

Saw this one. It's the lowest priced S I saw and it's aCPO. Looks like a decent deal. Sorry if it's been posted already.
2014 CS, manual with only 8,800 miles on it. Black with pretty low options list.

I haven’t noticed any wheel spin in the corners, it puts the power down with ease unless the roads are wet. On track may be a different story, but with the PSM switched on it I have read that it will brake the spinning wheel (not torque vectoring). I have been looking at the LSD upgrade from Quaife or Guard. Not sure it is needed on the street though and also not sure if adding an LSD is worth the cost and the risk of potential issues.

From what I understand, the manual cars have been released. I spoke to the dealer about this car, and he said they checked with the manufacturer, and this car had no holds on it. I've looked at this one in person, and it is clean, but pretty low spec, as stated. It's a 2013 and not a 2014, but very low mileage.
Are your sure SC, does no look like it in pics
And spec does not list
And the options aren’t bad. 14 ways but heated and cooled, SC, CPO. You can add an exhaust and Numeric shifter and cables. I would want to see a DME report but it is CPO. In this crazy market, doesn’t seem like a bad deal if you want one and don’t have one. But I don’t really follow .1s other than 50ths, which are a different animal.

I have base with apr 93 and have only had one incident on the track. First lap I got on the gas too much and the new found power combined with me having the steering wheel cranked way too far caused spin. The rest of the weekend all was well with new found repspect for the the low end torque bump. Will 315's fit on our rims if we have 305's now?
