I’m strictly looking for a 991.1 Targa and the ones that are selling are almost all under 70% of original MSRP with 5k miles a year. There’s quite a few listed in the 75-77%, but those just sit, so I’m happy to be patient. In the few months I’ve seriously been looking, I’ve seen 2-3 priced reasonably and they sold in a month or so. If I find the right car, for what I consider a fair price, then great. If I don’t, I’ll continue to enjoy my Boxster GTS.
Not cheap, but a great resale pedigree: Aqua c4s with pkit. pdk

I haven't sat down and done the math, but it seems to me that the 4s models hold their value better than most other 911 models (rare cars excluded).
To me it seems they depreciate like all 911's for the first 1-3 years and then seem to level off. When I look at 996 and 997 turbos and 4s models, the 4s models seem to be priced within 10k for cars that stickered for 20k+ more when new.

Is this thread only for 991.1 911s?
I'm starting to look for a 991.2 Turbo S, but don't see any posts on those and have seen few posts on 991.2 in general here.
Maybe the title of this thread should be changed?

When the thread first started, the 991.2 wasn't a thing yet, so the discussions seemed to have always centered around the "original 991". I'm currently in the market for a 991, and am considering both the .1 & .2 flavors. Primarily looking for specific options and colors, and if either of them fall into my price range, I'm game.

Personally, I'm in the former group, it's either C2 or C2S for me, a GTS is out of my reach and I'd like an NA.

I've been looking for an MT 991.1 Targa 4 GTS for months with no success. I don't think I've been too picky on the spec, either. Will these come out in the spring, or are they all tucked away in garages, never to emerge?

One never knows what may hit the market but .1 cars are harder to find than the .2 cars; however, with high flow cats on the latter the sound is great and you get a quicker car. Nevertheless, manual Targa GTS cars are hard to find period.

Not sure if the post in the "Stop Sale Campaign" thread about the stop sale being lifted is true or not, but I did some casual looking and noticed a few more .1 CS's with Sport Chrono available for sale at Porsche dealerships.
Here is a nice CPO PDK 991.1 C2S at Porsche Littleton if you're OK with black. Fairly basic spec, but it has the Sport Design steering wheel, Sport Chrono, and the glass sunroof. Price seems fair for a CPO car, but maybe not a screaming deal. 30k miles on the clock.
