Wow, just wow ... goes to show you should always do a PPI.
Curious whether the accident shows up on CARFAX. Anyone got access to free CARFAX?

They didn't ask and I didn't tell. I was literally in and out with a quote in 15/20 minutes.. Came back the next day and sold it.
When I originally sat down with the guy he found my name in the system and asked me if everything looked correct. I said yes and told him I was going to walk around to check out their inventory. All he said was "go ahead" and "they should be done fairly quick"... Shortly after he came with the offer quote paper and handed it to me.. Went home, realized they offered me a great price and took it... I knew the accident was clearly on Carfax and assumed they checked because any buyer/dealer of their caliber would.

I would have done the same thing...good for you.
Most definitely. I immediately came home to post this on Rennlist to warn as many people as I could.
I brought in the GTS a week later to see what they'd offer me.. It was an underwhelming $92k.. A 150k MSRP 2017 GTS Lava Orange.
I've learned that Carmax is not good with cars worth over six figures. First they must contact corporate headquarters and you wait a day/two for your quote. They lowballed my friend on his Phantom by well over 100k.

Correct. While Carmax is excellent with typical standard cars, they are not very good at all for "outside of the box" vehicles. Lots of YouTube videos out there of the absurd carmax offers for exotics and other high-end cars.

Makes sense, it's not their target market, cars in that range can be very hard to accurately price and they are much harder to sell. I don't blame them. I'd stay away from them too if I were them. They can make the same $$ on a car that retails for much less and turn them over quicker.

No VIN on this one yet, and not officially on the market yet, but would love pricing feedback...
The good:
The bad:
I have the opportunity to pick it up pre trade-in at $86K, which seems like a damn good price even with the carfax blem and repair.
Thoughts on price? Pickings are pretty slim on 991.2 manuals, particularly an S with RWS, let alone at decent prices. Thinking of pulling the trigger on this one.
The good:
- 2017 Carrera S, "drivers build", 16K miles,
- Pristine inside and out.
- Manual.
- Sport Package (rear axle steering, sport exhaust, sport chrono, some trim upgrades).
- Sport Plus seats (4-way)
- LED PDLS, heated seats, glass roof, carbon trim, a few alcantara upgrades, RS wheels
- About $123K sticker.
The bad:
- Carfax blem, drivers door and front fender were scratched and required minor repaint and blend. Done through a top Porsche dealer (though I'm sure outsourced by them). Pretty much flawless match.
- Not a CPO car.

How is the warranty expired on a 2017 Car? Should have, at the very minimum, a year left....

You cannot just make a blanket statement like this. See my response:
Some dealers aren't big on paying Porsche for the CPO and don't do a lot of them. Other dealers CPO as many cars as they can.
Many CPO cars have had a lot of issues and undocumented accidents too.
A CPO is just an extended warranty and many dealers will just slap one on with barely spending time on the car.
DO your own due diligence either way. There are no guarantees. You can find a nice pre-owned car at the local Cadillac dealer, and also get a nightmare one at a Porsche dealer with a CPO.
