Some good news for enthusiasts. Not a limited production model too. Porsche is going after $$, and that's great. Pump out what buyers want without the "limited production drama" and ADM's.
Nice to see the other GT models cooling off on prices and Porsche making more of them. The "gotta have it" flipper crowds boat has sailed. The whole luxury/exotic market is cooling off too.

Porsche has so many new models and variants in the pipeline, they're going BIG. They're expanding quick and on their way to be the next BMW and BENZ.

Any company that would limit production and let the dealers charge ADM and flippers make money instead of them is idiotic.
Porsche I think is finally getting this, on top of certain underlying economic factors that may contributing to the cautiousness of buyers.

I wonder whether there will be more NA models for the 716. Maybe a NA 3.8 non-GT for the masses?

Wow, I am surprised that Porsche made all that effort in modifying the 991.2 flat six turbo to make it a NA 4.0 liters. I thought it would just be a slightly detuned engine from the 991.2 GT3. No shortcuts in engineering it sees. The spyder is quite tempting; you can hear the sound of the engine better when driving around the twisties. Make me think about trading my 991.1 S.

After reviewing all the specs, power-to-weight ratios, nannie-rich features in the new GT4,.. there is no way I am going to trade-up to that car from my 997.2 2010 GT3. The 991.2 manual GT3 is still the only car that would draw me into trading to newer (but of course there is a significant price differential in that car,... verses the very comparable pricing between a new 718 GT4 & a 997.2 GT3). In the end the 9A2EVO GT4 4.0 engine is still not better IMO to the Mezger 3.8 NA GT3.
.... in addition, I am guessing that the new montra "everyone gets a GT4 that wants one" for this GT4, says to me that there is a future blending of production volumes (& quality control) between the 'ol skool "Motorsports" builds,.. and creating new high production line volumes for GT cars such as this one (...plus as STG says, it does attempt to eliminate the dealer ADM's and flipper markets,... which is a good thing in my mind).

I don't think Sofas are available (14 ways.) But yes, you are correct, those would be Sport Seats Plus. To those of us who have been around a while...Porsche for many years used Sport Seats instead of the current nomenclature for the hard back buckets.

I've been focusing on 997s & 718s, but that's a beautiful car.

Love the color and two tone interior. Seems like a good deal.
