This car is as good as advertised. I spoke to John about it. I ultimately passed, as we are going to keep our 997 and add a GT4 to the stable, but someone should snag it!

Hope the GTS finds a new home on RL.
Sold the 50th^^to purchase this GTS Cab a few years ago. Wrapping up a seven year resto-mod 928 project and she’s coming home soon. That said we simply don’t have the garage space at our new digs. Thank you for the bump George and glad to see this thread back up to speed T

Lack of Sport Chrono on a car like this is a sin. See so many examples of this.

Two things should be banned.

1. Not ordering Sport Chrono on any PDK.
2. Option for Mahogany Wood interior trim on a 911! Why on earth is it even an option??

We can be pretty simple minded here We look for pre-owned cars and don't want to pay fine wine prices.

I'm waiting for the reclaimed barn wood option myself.

Wow. That's a looker ...

The new GT2RS's have those rose gold (correct name?) wheel finish options. Pretty nice.

Ouch. Those are some anemic options. Tough sell IMO unless the price is a lot lower.

Seem to be all holding strong.

Snippet of data :
I bought my car 2 years ago and weeks after I bought it I saw a GTS that grabbed me and I went back to the same dealer for a trade in price - ultimately, I didn't do it. Fast forward to today and 16K miles later, went back to the same dealer to get an appraisal (toying with the idea of selling) and they actually offered me $3k more than they did two years ago.

Strong indeed.

3. Not ordering full leather but checking boxes for lots of other crap. Leather over sunroof. Leather over burmester. Leather over PDLS. etc.

No, HFS isn't selling CUBAN LINX. We'll leave those to Raekwon. Few of you know what I'm talking about ... but ..

So while we're on the subject of LINX, the LINX to any listings seem to be cool after all. We just don't want to be a part time salesman for Porsche dealer X, Y, or Z or whoever. We just post nice cars at good deals. I'll call out any dealer that doesn't have the goods, we don't play favorites. Just please keep some nice listings flowing. Don't want some short few words and a link. This isn't the 997 for sale thread. Links go dead and don't do any good for future research. We want the format you've seen me post this past week. Link away, but don't let us shame you with some amateur posts. Thanks for the making this the #1 source for 991 pre-owned info.

And to you whoever complained, either you got the goods or you don't. Nobody is gonna buy a car just because it's in town. Guys here know what they want, and will scour the country to find it. The smart dealers get nice cars in at fair prices. If you don't have enough pre-owned 991's on your lot, stop trolling here and start looking for some trades.

Thanks to Rennlist and Internet Brands for the support and giving us a place for enthusiasts to connect.

As far as they theory behind the VIN#'s. It's an easy way to track these cars into the future. Post VIN#'s and Google will find them for eternity. Assuming someone doesn't try and sabotage us again. Our buddies at VIN ANALYTICS have made it easy to pull build sheets too.

Get the iPhone Garage Talk app. Easy peasy to follow RL and post pics!
