HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991
Hi guys and gals,
I found a car locally for my wife (I don't want to list too many details, as it hasn't been advertised and I don't want to be "outbid"). Suffice to say, it is a really nice car. 2015 C4S, Sapphire BM, full leather, 25k miles, PDK, SC, PSE, Sport Design Package, CPO through 2021. It is a $142k build. He said the dealer offered him $79k, and if he can do a few thousand more, he will sell it outright. She wants to get out of her manual M4 for commute duty.
Does that sound about right for pricing? Low to mid 80's for private party sale? I figure $12,000 less than a comparable mileage GTS in 2015 is probably about right, considering they both have the same MSRP. I dunno why anyone would order a C4S for $142k in 2015 when a 4 GTS could have been ordered, but oh well. If it saves me something now, I am fine with that.
Edit: she wants a 4S, not a 2S, as she likes the locked-down feel, especially in wet conditions and rain. Plus, I am shopping for a .2 GT3, so we will get our classic 911 feel in that car.

Sapphire Blue. Ducktail! Full leather. PDK. SC. Ducktail! PSE. Sport Techno wheels. Warranty until 2020. Did I mention Ducktail! At least for me, this is a perfect build. Unfortunately I just bought a 2012.5 Guards Red C2S a few months ago. If someone wants my Guards Red, make me an offer

Wow, I hope that its just coincidence and you didn't purposely hunt down a car that sounds suspiciously like what dawgcatching was asking about, considering, but not wanting competition on just yet just to post up a link...
lol whoops, sure seems that way. That is a sick build. Good luck dawgwatching, hope y'all can ****** it.
I don't know if it's the same car, but I hadn't read the post above before sharing this link. If it is, sorry. Not intentional.
I ended up going $83,500 on the one I am purchasing. I figure it is probably worth $12k less than a similar mileage-similar build GTS. I will be picking her up in a few days!

Maybe it is a "sister" car, like the 2013 C4S DBM twins. One of them is for sale at Porsche Austin right now. Manual, loaded build, ceramics, yachting blue interior, no PSE, aerokit, and wood interior. The other one sold at Manhattan Motorcars a few months back; it had 19k miles. This one was offloaded by a dealer in the midwest who had taken it in on trade; they sold it to Austin for $74k after dropping the price fruitlessly for months on end. I wonder how long Austin will sit on it before realizing that NOBODY wants a build like this? They have had it for 6 weeks now, yet the car is still at $90k. Bonus: it has 19's (winter wheels) instead of the stock 20's, if you are the type that doesn't like the 20" options (again, basically nobody).

With any of these car references please post pics and VIN #'s please. This goes for many posts lately. All we ask here to be good contributors and keep HFS a good resource.
Links go dead and we will have zero historical info. We are better than the other imitation HFS threads on the 997 board, etc.
