What a fantastic build on the South Bay car. All the performance goodies, all the luxury goodies, and my favorite trio - sunroof delete, fire extinguisher, red belts. WP0AB2A94CS121355

I'm pretty close to a deal on this black manual 2016 GTS with 19K miles. VIN #WP0AB2A95GS122388. Thoughts on this car at $107K? CPO, one-owner, and rear bumper replaced due to minor accident. I couldn't find this VIN anywhere on-site.

It's been a while since I checked in on this thread, and it's nice to see that all your hard work is still going strong. It's also nice to see the 991.1 prices becoming more competitive.

Use this web address, good for any vehicle, just replace the VIN.

Where? It seems prices have been lowered some because cars being sold have higher mileage. I believe the earlier 991.1 prices are reflecting that. It would be interesting to see how the prices for 2014-15 low mileage (below 20K miles) 991.1S models behave. I don't mean the GTS models, which seems to be stuck up in the 100K range

So, I test drove this car yesterday. The spec is below. The price is missing an "8"... i.e. it should read $88,991

This 991.1 Carrera S would be my first Porsche or 911... and so has a sport exhaust system, is naturally aspirated (:-) ).. but no chrono or PASM as far as I understand it. I would get the wheels painted satin black, and black out badges. I am not looking for multi function wheel, and wasn't really planning for a sunroof - but for a good bundle, ok.

I am trying to decide whether to buy:
a) new 2018 spartan base 991.2 / 911 C2
b) 2017 "last on the lot" new 991.2 / 911 C2/C2S (probably some undesirable/missing options)
c) the below - i.e. 2015 991.1 / 911 C2S

So... for "c"... Any input on the above price against the below specs? Thanks in advance.

Price above doesn't sound too hot. Lack of Sport Chrono/ Sport Plus button on PDK cars is a dealbreaker for many and may hurt resale. I have kept an eye on the early 991.1's (2012 and 2013) a lot more than 15, but I think I have seen similar builds going for low $80s. All S models are equipped with PASM by the way - indicated by the coilover button on the center stack.

Agree with the previous response that this price isn't 'hot' from a national perspective. The trouble is that Porsche Beaverton tends to price their used inventory at a price that will move quickly enough in their local market. Fortunately for them, Portland is a one Porsche dealer market, with the next closest options a couple hours to the north in Tacoma, or a few hours southeast in Bend. And neither of those dealers price competitively to the national market, either. The Pacific NW is difficult in that there are few main dealer options, with only seven dealers in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho combined.

Assuming that's where you're located, it ultimately comes down to a local purchase for ease of transaction, or a national search and paying for transport. Have to weigh for yourself if that car has enough of what you want or need in your 911. You mentioned multi-function steering wheel, but per the spec, that car shouldn't have it. If it does, that means the previous owner swapped from the OE SportDesign steering wheel, which is the desired option. Overall, it is a lightly optioned car, and should command less than their listing. Personally, I'd keep looking.

I would buy the 2015 and enjoy it for a while so I could determine what exactly I would want if I were to order one or find one with the options you want. You don't want to buy a car that you won't be happy with and will suffer too much of a loss if you decide to sell it.

This 2015 is NOT HOT at all. If they were asking $75K then I would consider it. This is a $116K build. If it was a fully optioned, low mileage $135K build then maybe it was worth $85K.
Sorry, but this one doesn't do it for me.
You might get a better (percentage-wise) discount on the '17 that is on the lot. It might actually have more desirable options than the '15. You didn't give us any details on it, so it is hard to say.

Good luck hunting!
