The computer can only decide on shifting strategy in a reactive way on sensor inputs. Humans are way better on this because we can do it proactively based on what we see ahead. Computer in our 991 today can not see ahead like humans can.

It's the clutch that is the slow part of the equation, not the shift tactics. We are talking about manual shifts, using PDK as being superior to any fancy footwork you can imagine you could do. Simple math, folks.
No one here is comparing MT manual shifts to full auto, except the poor souls desperately clinging to an MT, while erroneously averring that an MT will beat a PDK equipped 991 (crazy talk).
