991 50th anniversary model
#736
Graphite Grey - C2C2 (achatgrau uni)
Geyser Grey Metallic - 9G5 (geysirgrau)
Grey Black - 7A1 (grauschwarz)
As far as I know, the only way to get Graphite Grey, right now, is to get a 991 50th. It is not on the approved PTS list, nor is it even up for feasibility review.

I think Eduardo might be the right person to answer that but from what I seem to remember, Porsche does not want to give the "special colors" of the limited editions to the "normal" cars.
I think it was also impossible to get the grey of the Sport Classic for any other 997...Like that, the limited editions stay a bit more special...

Yeah, I just realized I wasn't super clear about that. I meant that it's not even being considered for PTS yet (which is what I consider the "feasibility review" step to represent -- more than just whether or not the paint itself can hold up to weathering, etc., etc).Indeed. Eduardo's the man in this case (well, in many other cases too, heh). But yeah, you're right, Sport Classic Grey (63A) has not been made available via PTS, and I suspect PAG will keep it that way.
"my custom order C4S just arrived at the dealership... ;-)
i was able to:
- do the PTS geyser grey"
'Geyser Grey' was not on the approved 'PTS' list as of 9/09/2014, even though it was a color used in 'Limited' production (as opposed to 'Mass Production') on some of the 50th Anniversary editions! That's because only colors requested for PTS end up on that list and Mag3's car was built after that date (I think). But since Mag3 requested it & the color was approved for his C4S, it would not be unexpected to see 'Geyser Grey' show up on the next updated PTS list!
However, I am as surprised as most of you that PAG allowed the 50th Anniversary's 'Geyser Grey' to be used as PTS for Mag3's C4S. I guess some colors are 'Truly 'Exclusive' and some are just 'Pretend Exclusive'!
Saludos,
Eduardo

Looks like the 911 50 owners prefer to keep a special edition as it is. I was very ambivalent before I first saw it. I think that Porsches are perfect as they come from the factory and special edition should not be touched at all.
But still, I love the side decals on the classic Porsches. What I had in mind was this:
As the decals can be removed any time, I decided it’s worth a try. For now, I really like it. I like the black accent on gray paint, a bit sportier, but sill classic and not too flashy.

I like it, especially how the side emblem on your 50th anniversary edition echoes those past models. One thing about rennlist, there are always plenty ready to criticize on what is and isn't right about a 911 build. But then you knew that when you asked.

So its all god, I'm still happy with the decals.
