The black was not mine, the geyser grey in front of it was.
All nice numbers were requested/offered, not random luck.
After seeing all those 3 available colors, I have to agree the black is actually the nicest in all lighting condition.

Hi dash 911, I posted a pic of my 991_50 and VO 1m on the 50th registry thread.. Seems that great minds think alike. I was going to sell the 1m but it is such a great car for the money, really nice linear car to drive, so maybe I'll keep for a while too. Enjoy the cars..

For the new owners, how do you think the wheels look on the car? To me, the lack of a dish to the wheel and the size somehow doesn't sit right with me. Not sure Fuchs-like styling works in this regard.

The rear wheels do have a nice concave look, which is great on the wide bodied car. Not much you can do with the fronts, especially with the huge 6 pot calipers.

Its funny the 1M only comes with 3 colors also, besides those exclusive colors for those BMW VIP customers, wonder if Porsche do the same and offer exclusive to those very very VIP customers with their choice of colors on the 50th??

I would not have chosen the 50th without the wheels.

The wheels are really one of the elements that made the car desirable for me. I just could not see settling for the standard fare found on the other Carrera models. They are every bit as cool in the flesh as in the pics, perhaps even more so. Up close, they are very rugged looking as well as stylish, which the original Fuchs were.
I would not have chosen the 50th without the wheels.
