I think so! As a low volume dealer you would think they wouldn't turn off customers so easily. I have so many colleagues that drive Porsche and they all buy their cars elsewhere too. It's funny, when I am not at work I usually dress down, so when I first went to that dealer I looked rough and pulled up in my pickup, couldn't get anyone to even look at me! Walked by people at their desks, nothing. Oh well, thanks to Internet we all have options. They lost 5 sales from me already in 3 years, suckers.
As for op, enjoy the car, looks great, nothing is better looking then a fresh new black car. Have fun!

After I got home and took a few pictures of the car, we had torrential downpours so I put the car away. I figured I would take a nice long ride the next morning. Again, within a short time the weather was really bad. The forcast here is rain, rain , rain for the next week.

just so you know, the 991 is the most stable car I've ever driven in heavy rain. The grip is just glorious. I honestly feel safer in the 991 than anything else. Enjoy your new car!

I'm waiting for my C2S to be delivered (hopefully this week), but I can already tell there no such thing as simply "another C2S". Your car is stunning, and I bet totally worth the extra wait. Enjoy and drive it in good health!

Now I finally have my car it hasn't stop raining here in Florida. It's at least given me the opportunity to apply a sealant on the clear and now it's ready for rainy season.

Stopped in to see my salesman today (car goes to body shop on Friday, just checking if there was any change in schedule, which there wasn't). Asked him if he was planning on taking any vacation 1st week of August (dealer delivery) and he said no. Mentioned this thread and his response? "That's crazy"
I agreed..

It was time for a new avatar. Still raining here in Fla. I have put a total of 120 miles on my car since it was delivered last Friday. Washed it twice. The sealant I used really protects it. I was surprised that ti stayed so clean after being out in the rain. I'm looking forward to Sunday when it's suppose to be in the 80's and sunny. I'm having my Valentine one hard wired in on Monday with the installation of the laser diffusor.

Congrats on your new toy. It looks great. I know how you feel about the rain. First outing with our 991 was to Daytona with the Porsche club. Fun day but about 2:00 in rained all the rest of the day. It hurt as we have some other cars that are now over 10 years old that have never been in the rain.
But now we can drive our 991 and not jus let it sit.
