Apex VS-5RS Wheels

Sounds like a good plan to me.
One thing to look at in determining which Cup 2s is the detailed specs on Tire Rack, and specifically the tread widths between the N-spec version and the Connect 240s. IIRC, you'll see Porsche's input in the tread widths, and it has had me going N-spec these last 5 years (admittedly for an assumed performance or tuning gain per Weissach's input as well as the visuals…the N-spec Michelins just look right to me, whether judged against the PZeros on my first 991.2 C2 or various aftermarket offerings).
Still thinking about Cup 2s for the Apexes with the next go round, but it'll probably be a while as I just replaced the front PS4S. I really liked the Cup 2s as everyday tires on a GT4 over two years & 14,000 miles here in Northern California, for the majority of the year anyway.

Any further updates on orders placed on the Black Friday Sale? I called today and was told I was still in the "90 days plus" status.

Guys, even at 90 days wait, these wheels are like a deal and a half. You aren't going to find anything with this precise 991.2 fitment, quality finish, features (knurled edge, etc.), and weight for anything less than 2.5 times what you will pay for these. I know, because I looked for a long time before Apex had there 991.2 offering. Up until Apex's 991.2 fitment was offered, you were looking at HRE, Forgeline, etc. All at a materially higher price point.

Looks like the availably date on the VS-5RS keeps moving back.
So I'm wondering if the 19" option will work a street oriented tire. Don't want to run an R-compound as this is my daily. Anyone try the Hankook's on the street? I love it on the track.
