@Apex Wheels Any chance of seeing the EC7-RS in 5 lug 20" PCCB 991.2 fitment? If not what if we did a group buy?

The VS-5RS is nice, but I had that style wheel on my car for almost 4 years, so it's time for a change.

Ha ha! Am in process of selling my 19” winter wheel set, as they won’t fit over my Big Brake Kit.

Something like that is still up in the air of if or when it could come to fruition. We have a few new projects in the works that take precedence at the moment.

Been a while since I bought a set of wheels. Beyond the wheels themselves I assume I'll need valve stems and caps as well as TPMS sensors. Then I need to decide between N-spec Cup 2's or the Cup 2 Connect-240s.

Our wheels will come with a set of our Black Apex center caps or you can reuse or source some new Porsche caps. We do sell TPMS sensors with valve stems in three different finishes to best match the wheel. Make sure you choose the correct generation from the drop-down menu or they will not pair with your car.

Perfect. I'll order an extra set of canter caps from Porsche. The slippery slope with previous 911s started with wheels........

20” Centerlock EC-7RS would be epic ! Please make it happen.

Almost RS Weissach style for fraction of the cost. Would be a big seller !

I love the 19” EC7-RS but too small for 991 imo.

@Apex Wheels how does the Black Friday sale on VS-5RS compare to other sales in the year? I remember seeing they were 20% for 4th of July sale. I was hoping for similar on Black Friday but it looks like they are only 15% off.

Yeah I wish they were 25% off. I’ll probably pass and keep the black VS5RS I have. @Apex Wheels let us know if Rennlist members can get an extra 10% off the advertised Black Friday price!

July 4th was 10% off VS-5RS and only in select fitments, some of the Flow Formed wheels were 20% off during that sale. Black Friday is our biggest sale of the year and if you are patient, is when you should place an order for the maximum savings.

No extra discount for forum members but as long as you are in the lower 48 states you also get free shipping which is a significant cost savings as well

Thinking of getting these for my 991.2 T. Would like to go to 19" and have a nice thick sidewall. Are there any none R-compound tires that would fit? This is the daily.

Or is 20" the way to go?

20"s are probably the way to go here, as there is no tire availability for a stock width with a higher aspect ratio. This means in order to get that higher sidewall you must go to something like 265/35-19 and 325/30-19 tire sizes. This is totally doable and has been done by a few customers of ours. THIS CUSTOMER comes to mind and it does look incredible but I believe he may have camber plates installed. This is not surprising when running a track-oriented tire like he did which typically has wider tread widths than their street tire counterparts. If you decide to go this route, I would be prepared to potentially need either an alignment for the front and rear axle or in a rare case front camber plates.

I would go Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in 245/40/19 front and 295/35/19 rear.

This would not only give you the thicker sidewall you are looking for, but there are the best daily street tires on the market.

I went 20” and have no regrets! Daily driver.
