I don't know where you guys were in 2008 but it was bad. If you were in SF back at that time then yeah tech wasn't hit so bad but alot of people of all types were hit from my memory. Tech actually ramped up from that 2008 time period with both the launch of the Apple iPhone (which started the mobile apps innovation race) and social media platforms like Facebook booming and extending their reach.

Default I bought the same one

But with latitude model with the 20's. Lakeland dodge in FL delivered 26 days after order. Volume matters. They do accept Tread Lightly, I would not deal with Mike in internet sales (he is a dipsht).

It's taking me 5 months just to get a Jeep Grand Cherokee and they're built in an adjacent state. One nice thing about Jeep, they're still honoring affiliate pricing, so if you join Tread Lightly you get friend's and family pricing (slightly under invoice).

As someone who just sold their 2017 Carrera 4S Cabriolet and is now experiencing serious post-sale regret, I’ve been scouring the entire country nonstop to see if there is another car equipped just like mine, but not only is the inventory sparse, the prices are still very elevated. Oh, and forget about finding new cars. The only prices I see dropping are like a $5k discount off of an already elevated $30k adjusted dealer markup, so I’m going to call BS on the whole floor dropping out on Porsche pricing thing.

@mc3456 I would agree, that prices are not dropping at least on the west coast. I just sold my 2015 Cayman S, looking for a 991.2 car but prices are holding and dealers (I have called 3) say they are not moving on the advertised price. What I'm finding in the 991.2 is that a lot of the C2S & C4S were ordered without the Sport Chrono, or at least that combo is what is being sold now.

Definitely. My car had Sport Package, Adaptive LED Lights Plus, 18-Way Seats, Full Leather Interior, along with many more key options. Everything I see has 14-way seats, no LEDs, no Sport Pkg, and/or no Full Leather interior. Hard to fathom paying up for a Porsche without those vital options. Going to wait it out though. As more 992s arrive, there should be some better trades coming in. BTW...Porsche charges about $35k more for a 992 with the same configuration I already had based on MSRP. Others may disagree, but personally, I do not even like the interior and exterior of the 992, even if they were the same price.

Good to know as 991.2 C4 (without the S) is what ive been looking for. i do see a good amount without sports chrono. Prices seem steady though. Going to buy as mid life crisis car, luckily 40 is still a year and half away so hope prices drop by my Bday.

ah if only it was a C4 i would jump on it. i wanna be able to daily drive as much as possible here in boston all wheel is needed.

Your price seems reasonable. Surprised no bites in 4 months. Esp in this market. Hopefully it sells soon before prices start coming down. good luck with the sale.

With a set of winter tires a RWD will do well in the winter. The limiting factor will be ground clearance. I daily drove my C63 with winter tires for 3 winters (in Alberta Canada), zero issues except for the days where the snow was higher than the front bumper. Those days I would take my Subaru STi where I didn't mind banging up the front lip/bumper or if needed would take our Jeep Wrangler.

Is AWD better than RWD in the winter? of course, but you can safely drive in the winter with winter tires. If you are just only going to be using all-season tires, I would continue to look for AWD versus RWD.

I just sold a 2013 C2 S. Drove it for two winters. If you think about it, 98% of the time the roads are clear in the winter. Just make sure not to drive it when there is going to be a big snowfall. It works fine. I live in New Hampshire. I drive all year round by 911. I have 19 inch turbo twist wheels with Perelli Sottozero tires which I still have and need to sell. Go for it. Get the rear wheel drive version. It’s really not a problem. Life is too short man.

You still have the roof racks? Looking to sell? I'm North of Boston!

I’m going to keep the roof racks for now. I might drive the turbo in the winter if I can find some reasonable snow tires. I’ll let you know if I i’m going to sell the roof racks.
