I just had all my Tial stuff put on. The OEM gts turbos definitely spool much quicker.
Congrats. I can’t get over the size difference. This will really be a nice improvement in air flow. The stock turbo inlet pipe is like a straw feeding the turbo.
The 3DPrinted TIP comes with a reducer so it works with stock turbo’s. But I won’t need the reducer as it was designed to feed and bolt direct to the M800-GTS.
How loud would it be? I already have Vektor headers and I am about to remove the Akrapovic cats and add Tubi Catless test pipes as soon as they arrive next month.
That just leaves either Akrapovic Ti cans or one of these two?

I think it sounds great, I could put up with even more volume as crazy as that sounds.

Thanks, it’s definitely rowdy. Inside with the windows up it doesn’t sound louder than my previous setup which was a Fabspeed X-Pipe and THS catless bypass pipes on stock turbos. So it’s not bothersome to me, I actually expected it to be a bit louder but seems the resonators didn’t do much at all on Fabspeed in terms of resonance or drone… it just added weight.
I switched to a THS X-Pipe (has no resonators/mufflers, just a plain x-pipe), added Vektor headers and that’s what really woke it up. The equal length headers changed the tone to this visceral flat-6 sound where it sings in the upper RPM’s. It’s possible the larger exhaust turbines on the M660 turbos also changed the sound a bit too. Hard to capture the sound accurately, but it’s almost GT3ish in the last 800 or so RPMs before redline.
I’ll shoot some clips from the outside, I haven’t heard it myself! Without a PSE, I only have one option, loud. It’s a good thing I live in an HOA 😆
