So excited! Just received my headlights back from Paolo @ Rennlights and I am super satisfied. They're now blacked out, and the new lenses with the black trim just finish it all off perfectly. Can't wait to get these PPF'd and back into the car.

Glad you are happy with the work !
I didn't send the photo below of the finished product because I wanted you to experience the full reveal, in person
Blacking out the interior chrome parts and finishing it off with the new dark trimmed lens covers completely transformed the original look and they are going to look amazing on the car!

Feb 8th, the earliest I've ever had the car out of winter hibernation, by almost 40 days actually. Thank you so much to Paolo @ Rennlights. The headlights turned out amazing!

Also, I thought having blacked-out headlights might necessitate sourcing blacked-out DRL's, but now that these are installed, I think it works just fine as-is. I'm glad I waited to pull the trigger on the DRL's as that likely saved me $1k.

Default Bright silver lenses 991.1

Have you gotten the bright silver 991.1 lenses in stock yet. Ready to send my lights in for lense replacement.

I will report back the results of the experimenting but hopeful they will be renewable.

I don't think you need to do anything with the DRL's. It looks great and they look like they match each other.

Shipping out a pair of renewed sets to some members tomorrow.

Great chance for a photo comparison since these headlights were originally the exact same.

Blacked out with dark grey colored trim -vs- Back to stock with silver colored trim

Paolo,

I think I speak for many of us on Rennlist that want to say thank you for taking the chance and starting this business. I've done it myself a number of times, and the activation energy is always hard to overcome. What makes it worthwhile is seeing happy customers and knowing that your vision is resonating in the marketplace. You are simply doing amazing work. You'll have my lights this summer!

cheers!
