Lens quality: 9/10. It's little bit smaller than OEM I think 🤔

Job quality : 8/10. I see alot of left over plastic pieces inside of my light . They are small but seems like tech didn't clean them before sealed.

Over all I'm super happy with them. Whoever gonna go with Paolo I highly recommend him.. but make sure ask him clean the headlights really well before seal the lens

Over all I'm super happy with the lights!! Thank you!!
Hmm, definitely let us know if you can blow that debris out. My OCD would go nuts if it was still in there permanently.

Otherwise the lenses look great!

Covers are the same size as OEM and the lens optics are of great quality so essentially make it a brand new headlight.

The original covers had lots of internal cracks before and would light up like a Christmas tree at night I bet.

Here is the before:

I would remove the rear bulb cover and with a compressed air duster you should be able to remove them.

So I will be adding removing the rear bulb covers and blowing out the housings before sealing to my process from here on then... thanks for the feedback.

What a great service—such a pity to see whole light units replaced when only their lenses are pitted or cracked, which is what happened with my old GT4.

Blackout option for $150 looks superb, as well. Curious to know if you can also change the outer black trim (large) in a 991.2 PLDS+ light unit to silver as seen on the standard 991.2 lights? The black trim, while nice, gets lost on my very dark Carrera. Also curious about cost/turnaround even if I don't need new lenses? The original lenses have PPF from Mooty's go-to, and still look great.

I do have the OEM silver colored covers now in stock but seems unecessary for you if your covers are in good condition.
I would suggest using silver colored vinyl wrap applied on the outside (like the product offered from KI Studios but theirs is only gloss black)

Just ordered a handheld air blower from Amazon so I will be able to be sure and clear out any debris that could be hiding behind trim and components before final assembly.
Too many nooks and crevices for them to hide in otherwise apparently.

OEM silver colored covers and additional steps for a clean finish.

I'm next, I'm next ! ;-) No, really, I just sent my $. Will report too, though it looks like everyone is happy anyway... I can attest to the excellent communication already. And it's fairly priced vs the replacements, I kept hoping Porsche would TSB that one, but nope...

We're finally getting some above freezing weather next week, so I should be able to get my headlights out of the car. Looking forward to getting this done!

-other than shipping time back and forth, I complete the repair within 24 -48 hrs of receiving them.

I have been working on increasing my inventory of headlights that I will renew to have available for immediate purchase and then offer a partial refund upon return of the customers renewable headlights. (A core exchange type of option)
I have about 16 headlights (991 and 981) to renew in my current backstock and work on them in as I find the extra time.
However, I do prioritize completing the work of customers own headlights that are shipped in directly.

The manufacturer that I source covers from does offer 958.1 and 958.2 replacement covers.
I purchased and have some used 997, panamera and cayenne headlights inbound to see if replacing the covers will be a possibility.
I will report back the results of the experimenting but hopeful they will be renewable.
