Obviously your plans are not through Fidelity, which is the preferred plan throughout the community.

This thread is for Fidelity Plans only, as it’s best to create your own thread for the company you work with to avoid confusion for buyers who only want the trusted Fidelity coverage.

We have been getting a ton of inquiries, and happy to help so many in this forum. After some major tweaking, we have set the system to provide quotes on PLATINUM coverage plans only, and set static term/mileage options to our most popular options below. This has solved several quoting issues, and will provide a much smoother purchase experience. Of course, the promocode RENNLIST is still valid for $200.00 off. The options below are the most commonly purchased plans, and in our opinion, the best value for the $$ - the options below, especially for Porsche drivers, use the minimum mileage terms available, as the 7 year and 6 year term have a minimum 10,000 mile per year option, and the 5 year term has a minumum 12,000 mile per year option.

84 Months/70,000 Miles - $0, $100, $250 Deductible

72 Months/60,000 Miles - $0, $100, $250 Deductible

60 Months/60,000 Miles - $0, $100, $250 Deductible

Please keep in mind, if some of the above options do not populate, this means that your vehicle is NOT eligible for the above specific term/mileage options.

If NONE of the options are available above, it should populate the below:

48 Months/48,000 Miles - $0, $100, $250 Deductible

NOTE: Lesser term/mileage options and all GOLD options are still available, but we will need to speak via phone as the system has been set to present the most popular plans purchased most often.

If the options that populate online work for you and your vehicle driving habits, place the order online and we'll get it finalized as the online system is our preferred purchase method, but of course, if any questions, call me at 401-723-4700 and I can help.

Glad to help as always, and thanks to everyone for the support and referrals!

Lots of orders coming in, and just want to extend our gratitude - we’ve adjusted to portal, and it works perfectly with no hiccups - again, you’ll see the options listed above populate very quickly, as the terms above are the most popular plans, and best value for the $$ - Tire & Wheel Protection is a great plan as well.

If any specific questions, don’t hesitate.

Default Another attaboy for Michael Bernardo

REFUND WAS EASY TOO.

I bought a 48 mo Fidelity Platinum plan for my 991, after having bought a plan for wife's Volvo XC-90. Two years into the 48 months, I have sold my 991. I emailed Michael Bernardo about cancelling, he answered immediately- like 2 minutes. The online form he linked to me took about 3 minutes to fill out, and I got the refund from Fidelity for the unused portion of the plan in about a week.

Michael was every bit as pleasant and efficient dealing with my cancellation/ refund as he was when I bought the policy. Really just exemplary service from Michael Bernardo and Steingold Volvo. I can't recommend him more highly. Thanks Michael!

Very good to know as I am in the process of selling my 2017 911 C2s and will have to end my warranty too. Am currently shopping the car around to local dealers. Very mixed feelings, but we now have two homes and three cars but the 911 is not something my wife will drive and also we need to be able to fit a full size car seat. 2 strikes against the 911. Not interested in buying a fourth car for sure. Probably going to order a Tesla Model Y "appliance" to keep in California. Will have to revert to getting my speed hit from motorcycles.

EDIT: My daughter who is an attorney made a compelling argument against selling the 911 so.......nevermind NOT selling my 911. WILL keep the fidelity warranty.

Just curious why owners are selling their cars without the extended warranty? Is it not transferrable?

Seems to me an extended warranty would be a hell of a sales tool considering the new owner of the car would have to pay some serious dollars to buy a fresh one.

Please enlighten me.

I think the refund from the warranty would be more cash than the increased sale value the warranty would add. Might be valuable for a private sale, but not sure for selling to dealer. I traded in a Subaru last year that had an extended warranty and the dealership was not interested. Probably not interested in dealing with more paperwork. I ended up getting a refund from Subaru.

Just reminding us how much we like the car and all the fun trips we have done in it, and added to that the fact that there is no need to sell the car now at all. The decision to sell it was because we have two homes now and my wife does not drive the 911 and a full size baby car seat will not fit. We will eventually live almost full time down in California so we need a car down there that my wife can drive, but that is almost a year off so no need to do anything now. So our daughter summarized all that very well. I ended up putting a deposit down for a Tesla Model Y with a trailer hitch. Something my wife can drive, we can carry our grandson in, and I can haul bikes with if needed. Could be that eventually we will have the 911, a Tesla, and my Toyota 4Runner down there. Who knows how that will all play out Lead time for a Tesla Model Y is Oct-Dec 2022. Our house in Cali is new and has solar plus a dedicated 220v outlet in the garage to charge a car. If we sell the 911 I doubt we would ever get another one, so good to make a big effort to keep it. Our daughter summed all these points in one sentence

That was good summary! Just keep it until you no longer can keep it! Envious of the Tesla. But I live in a condo. Charging it will be HARD

In all fairness, comparing Freedom to Fidelity is just not, well, an even comparison.
