i don't think anything with an automatic will become a collectible for at least a few decades...... when there is no one left alive who knows how to drive a stick

Congrats on the GTS!
+1. Was looking on autotrader out of curiosity and some 2013-2015 C2S cabs were listed for $90-95k now!!! Yes, some high mileage ones in the $70-80k range, but still. As others have said, even if I were to sell, would be hard to find another optioned like mine, and everything is more expensive anyway so the net difference in price from now and 6 months ago is still the same.

It’s the used car prices that forced me into buying new. I secured a base 992 allocation in early March with a small discount (~3.2%) on a custom build. If I’d have waited a few more weeks I would have missed out. Dealers have many buyers deep just to be on a waiting list for an allocation. Seems to be getting worse rather than better.

Hey guys, a friend from my local car group just posted this nice example. Def a good car with low miles and a good guy also a super rare NO Sunroof car with some tasteful mods.

I received an email from my dealer today stating low inventory (shocker) and that they would pay up to $1000 over KBB value for my car (which is still about 10-15k lower than the market is right now).

Times are tough at dealerships now!

Anyone else receive a similar email?

I started receiving those letters a few months after buying new in 2018.

That may have more to do with the constant scarcity and demand for targas even before the ‘vid, as well as your keen ability to keep the rear spoiler down

I just bought this car pending inspection. Overpriced, but slim pickings for manual transmission 991.1 here in Canada. There were 2 I looked at back in the winter that were $85-89k (Canadian) and passed, had no idea prices would take off so quickly. But excited to finally own my first Porsche!

Where to go after 991.1 MT ? ...GT3 a low priority
story...
April 2020- deposit on a 2019 MT silver/blk GTS MT (C$144k/$104 USD) at Porsche London, ON. Could not test drive it! Border closed, still is... But the GTS w/ 3200kms could be brought to
the U.S. ($3000 ship and border fees/500 miles). Could not sell my 2011 GTS MT in time to ''seal the deal''. Finally a NA 4GTS MT came up at a less than $90k tag. ...had a few months of CPO and
three owners w/ sketchy-missing maint/service records. One recall addressed/new batt & minor service. (Excellent PPI at dealer) and only 23.3k miles.
Had it shipped for $300 >some ~450 miles (good deal).

Its Blk/blk, MT7, GTS interior,-2nd gen alcantara, leather steering wheel. no SR, a rocket...! w/ Sport/sport Plus/PSE

Now I'm looking at 992s (MT only) not sure its worth the 'upgrade' and the high tech (and ask $$) is going to take some getting used to. Thinking the 997.2 C2S C4S or GTS models have more
track feel than 99.1 or .2 *agree?

Had some/two offers at ~ $100k that were turned down> not a money issue, rather the what is the next P-car ? 991 Turbo - 992 C4S? No 992 test drive yet, have a feeling its not a road car but a
TECH car that allows you to pilot it! ...similar to 991.2s feel

**where R the ask$ now, I see them all over and high!
........................................................................ ..............
Some sources: Pfaff (Toronto area) has used (still w/ new warr) under an ''indy'' dealer its listed as Maserati or Ferrari in Autotrader/CA. Some go to the Pfaff Porsche dealer floor...
........................................................................ ............
Any thoughts?? ...or listings?
