Hey Guys,

I wanted to chime in and say that I saw and experienced this supercharger kit in person, and it did not disappoint. I have seen many turbo/supercharger kits for various applications over the years, and quite frankly this is one of the most impressive ones I've seen to date. The attention to detail and quality of the components is second to none, and the performance is superb. When I first heard of it I had hesitations sure, noone had done it before. Rafi stopped by with the car and ran me through the entire kit step by step and it was mind blowing what they've done. I also can't say good enough things about Rafi and Simon themselves, they're just Good People..."One of Us". Myself and the rest of the team over here couldn't be more happy to be working with these guys, having our exhaust components complimenting their own engineering. Proceed with confidence as they've got your back. And for that matter so do we, go beat the snot out of our exhaust! It has a lifetime warranty and we dare you to use it, we haven't had one break to date

Best regards,,
John Gaydos

I will definitely be a customer in the future as I start to get bored of my 991.1S and itch to switch cars.

How many hours would you say this install typically takes with a reputable Indy shop?
'

Thank you! Let us know when you're ready

We usually encourage customers to ship their car to us for installation. We have had several cars shipped in at this point and will dyno tune the car here in house. Plus, we also have aggressive rates on enclosed transportation and installation.

With that being said, if you have a good relationship with an independent Porsche shop, we can ship the kit to them and usually quote 20-30 hours for installation. Labor times may vary if it's the first kit that they have installed.

Please feel free to shoot us a PM or call to discuss further!

We just had another 991.1 dropped off for our Supercharger kit - this time, a C2S manual.

Needless to say, we're excited. Hope everyone had a safe weekend and stay tuned for more content!

I can't wait to drive it after the SC install is complete, waiting is the hardest part. I'll be sure to post a review after I put a few miles on it

I'm going to wait and see about the clutch. I'm optimistic that its the same as the clutch in the 991.2's that people are pushing huge torque through, but I'm cognizant that I may need to upgrade the clutch

Short of 'knowing a guy' or registering the car out of state, CA can be tricky with CARB/Smog testing unfortunately.

I had an exciting day: My car came home today from vacation in PA, where RR Racing installed their 991.1 supercharger kit in it. I got in a couple of drives today and the power increase is absolutely incredible! The car still has winter tires (82 degrees in Knoxville, TN today) on it so I feel like I need to change over to summer tires before really wailing on it). I want to get in a few more drives before I post any further observations but very, very impressive so far! I'd also like to say a big thanks to Rafi and Simon at RR Racing for walking me through the process and keeping me updated as it progressed. I was a little nervous about having this done to my car but after discussing it with them and reviewing it with my indy shop, I felt comfortable enough to dive in. Kudos to RR Racing for their top notch customer service!

While another 991.1 is 'under the knife', it gives us an opportunity to highlight one of the essential components of our Supercharger kit, the Autonomous Drive System.

Rather than utilize the factory accessory belt as most systems do, we designed a new dual belt crank pulley that allows us to drive the supercharger on its own belt. By driving the SC on its own belt, we are able to reduce the load and wear on the belt making for a more reliable drive system. Another advantage to an autonomous drive system is that we do not increase stress to the accessories such as the AC compressor and water pump. When a single belt is used for both accessories and the supercharger, the added belt tension due to load from the supercharger results in reduced life of the accessories.

Compared to OEM

We designed a dual belt crankshaft pulley, but rather than leave well enough alone, we utilized an ATi Super Damper specifically tuned to the higher power output of the engine. The ATi Super Damper eliminates torsional vibrations that could compromise engine reliability.
