Nice, were the others in the picture ones he has made for others? He is making me a set with Miami Blue now: hood, 4 wheel centers & steering wheel.

Yes, he batches them through the cerakote process....I’m 4+ weeks waiting for mine but worth the time for the quality that he produces.

Thanks. I ordered/paid on Nov. 12th so mine are getting close.

Check out his web site for prices, and he has a couple on fleabay most of the time starting at about $200, which includes the crest and free shipping.

after buying a bunch of different color hood cresta, I wound up reverting back to the original that came with the car. Original is best imo.

Then you my friend are in the wrong thread. To me, and many others that have bought these, custom crests are just like other mods, to make them our own and unique in some ways....my favorite hobby

Did not mean to rain on anyone's parade. I think it is an easy and great way to personalize your car. Just giving my personal opinion after trying out a bunch. If you are loving it, big thumbs up!!

Just a word of caution on these crests when installing on a 991.2. There is a small radius in the bottom of the stamped indentation in the hood. The pins on the custom crest I bought were in slightly different locations than the OEM pins. When installed in the indentation, the sharp edge of the crest interfering with the radius prevented it from centering in the center of the indentation. YMMV.

It actually depends on what you get as custom colors add to the cost.
