Just like in the movies....close ups are never the best as they show things that are developed by lighting.
It is the overhead LED lighting in my garage.....I'll take a picture or two outside in better lighting conditions.

Yep as I said the 3 m tape works great (Jim’s suggestion)
the steering wheel crest....I put over the existing one with a few drops of commercial grade silicone so not to take up space. Looked into other options when I did mine but no one could give any answers. It looks fine I think as the picture shows.

I have the hood. Will order the wheel crest in the spring but am interested to see how you install the steering wheel crest. To remove the old is a chore are you planning it as an overlay?

Someone else bent/curved it just slightly and placed it over the top of the existing one...I don't want to take the chance of having the airbag blow up in my face unless I hit a brick wall, head on.

Correct, just as I posted. The steering wheel crest is attached to the airbag with a couple of rivets/pins, which have to be cut to remove the existing crest, and the new one still needs to be glued in place either way.
