I just getting ready to order a set of these tires. Does everyone recommend that I order the 305's for the rear if my current tires are 295's? They would go on a 2014 C2. I currently have P Zero's that are 295's. Wheels are classic carrera.
Looking for good tire for daily driving to work and taking kids to school. Never track or driven too aggressively. Want good quality tire that has long life and nice ride. Utah weather. Would not be used in winter as I have a set of Alpins for winter use in Utah.Thank you for your help.
I would go with the 305 size. If you look on Tire Rack, under Specifications for the tires, you will see that the 305 Bridgestone is still not quite as wide as the 295 P zero.

I had MPSS 305 rears and there are 5mm spacers on my hubs. I selected the 295mm Bridgstones for the replacement. The car came with PZeros. They we're 295 and wore more or less evenly. The Michelin 305 tire developed an annoying noise associated with what looked like bad camber adjustment wear...there was a thumping.
I don't know if it was the width of the MPSS or alignment or both. So I went with the 295
that said, I am having the car aligned before the new bridgestone tires are installed.

Would be great to see your followup on this - I have 10 mm spacers in the rear, so sticking with the 295 size, even knowing they're a touch narrower than the Pirelli's, might be a good idea.
I noticed on TR's website that the Bridgstones are quite a bit heavier, 4-6 lbs, than the Michelins. While I would love to have an all season tire for my car, where I live I find it prudent to use snows even in my awd Volvos. The winter Continentals that I use in my 911 are very good in snow. The dealer charges a small fee to store wheels and tires so makes it easy for me.
I installed the Potenza tires on my second set of wheels (aftermarket Vorsteiner) to use during winter in Virginia on my 2018 4S. The wheels came from another Rennlister, from a narrow body 991. 20x8.5 front 40mm offset, 20x11 rear 55mm offset. I used 10mm spacer on the rear to make it fit evenly and similar/same. The fitment with the spacer is same/similar to the fitment that is offered by the various aftermarket wheel manufacturers for WB wheels (HRE, etc.). My original wheels are spyder RS with Michellin PS4. It's April and I still have the all seasons on my car, like them a lot, and will likely keep them on for foreseeable future. They fit my driving fine, and they do not pick up the little stones the way the original PZ0s or the new PS4s do. Here are a couple of pics.

Thats what I dont understand. Why would 305 be narrower than 295 in a different manufacturer tire. If it says its 305mm it should be 305mm wide. Its not subjective. Its annexact measurement.

Can't explain it but that is reality. Tire Rack, to their credit, shows specs for all tires so you can easily see how the tire you are looking at compares to what you have now.

Tons of reasons, and it's definitely not always accurate. I used to have an S2000. The factory rear tires were 225 width but when going to any other tire you needed a 245 to have an equivalent width

The tread is what's 305 mm, so that's (ideally) fairly consistent from tire to tire. However, other than the rim size and aspect ratio, the rest of the tire construction is up to the manufacturer. the shape of the sidewalls can effect the width of rim the tires will fit

Thank you for the responses to my questions about these tires. They were installed after balance and alignment. Very smooth and quieter than the winter tires and, definitely quieter than the MPSS tires that were badly worn. Thanks again.
A follow up to my recent post regarding availability. I received the 245 and 305 All Seasons from TR in less than 24 hours
from on line order placed. All four are 2020 year dated production. Actual width of the tread is slightly less than 245 and 305.
My debate now is whether to have them mounted, as while I am not crazy about the Pirelli they could be driven until next
winter and still have plenty of tread life. Note: The on line quantity -6- availability of the 245's did not change with my
purchase.
