12in rears are too wide for them. You will need some other wheels.

unless you’re looking for something similar to this, they’re not even close

You've seen the photos on this thread of these tires installed on 11 1/2 inch rims, you already know how ridiculous they're going to look on 12 inch rims..

I wouldn't trust any shop that was willing to allow one to drive off with these on 12in rims. I'm completely stunned that some are still asking whether or not this application will work after reading through this thread, 11.5 is a bit too much, 12in.is completely foolish, 11in is the max and a perfect fit. Time to close this thread and move on!!

What aftermarket wheel options do we have other than OZ and Turbo wheels?

I've been waiting for the availability of re980as since Dec. It looks like the availability date shifted to mid-to-late April.

Has anyone tried the new P0 replacement, PZ4 sport? Unlike many, I am reasonably happy with the current P0. Most seem to dismiss PZ4 without having tried them.

PZ4's ranking looks solid according to Auto Bild: https://alltyretests.com/pirelli-p-zero-pz4-test-review/.

PS: Hmm, MP4S still the best? https://www.caranddriver.com/feature...-test-feature/

I am not a tire expert by any means but I can attest that the MP4S on my old 987.1S cayman kick *** compared to the new P0 tires on my 991.1S.
Road noise, feel, feedback, comfort and dry grip.. all are better on the MP4S..period

We have a similar situation, but different views. I have MPSS on my 987.2 BS. I think they are ok, but not great. But I went from MPS2 to MPSS. Perhaps that's the reason -- no direct comparison.

MP4S is an entirely different animal.. have never had this level of grip and especially feedback on a street tire

Checked with DT -- still no firm date on delivery. Changed the order to MP4S. They are to arrive here within 5 days from 3 different warehouses. Also made an appointment with Porsche Austin on four-wheel alignment. Looking forward to trying out the new shoes.
