Just pulled it up on the website, that's a nice build!
Congratulations! There's three of us in AZ now that we know of.

Thank you. There are a few Carrera T's with a manual transmission still available, but not a lot. This one had all the options (plus a few more) that I would order if I was able to configure it myself. I am located in Northern California and had my local Porsche dealer reach out to other Porsche dealers within a reasonable radius. It will be transported to Rocklin, California where I will take delivery, hopefully within the next week to 10 days.

Love to see the spec of your new T if you have a chance to post.

I grew up in Loomis, next door to Rocklin. Congratulations on your T. I’m loving mine.

If anyone is still looking my local dealer has a great racing yellow build.

I will on occasion take off rather spiritedly from a traffic light. Why am I feeling what I can only call rough upshifting? Feels like a bit of a jolt. Is that normal? In my former Panamera, during launch control it kind of felt like a hit in the back of the head when it would shift. With the T just stepping on it, it's not smooth during upshifts.
Since no one gave you an answer, I'll give my 2 cents. I think most of us have the 7MT so you may want to ask this in the 991.2 forum?! I did drive the PDK on the track though. I think what you might be experiencing is the racing dual clutch boom-like effect. I'm not sure but my guess is that with the PDK, it will be different sounding in Normal vs Sport mode. I'm fairly sure that the clutches in the 911 are going to be much more racing oriented (larger) than the ones in the Macan or Panamera. I'm sure I'll get corrected if I'm wrong here. Just my thoughts.

Anyone in the greater Milwaukee area with a manual T?
Would love to check it out!

That is really impressive. The other T I have, babying it, gets 21mpg. As far as LWB, I have them and very much enjoy them. I have got the in and out process so smooth it is like the dancing hippo in Fantasia (I am 6’2” and 250lbs). I need to post a video. And I know everyone will hate this, but I added a sheepskin vest cover from amazon ($70 I think) and it really improved the experience. Gives a bit more lift and cushion and has the effect of allowing air circulation on long drives.

IMHO, LWBs are the best T option.

Ha! I'm picking up my Guards Red CT on Monday and will park it (after a good local rip) alongside my Mk6 Golf. I keep saying I should upgrade to an R or eGolf (came close) but I love that little car with it's GTI packge (Recaro seats, leather steering wheel, shifter, ebrake) and suspension bits. Just can't seeing selling it! Maybe I should find an R to go for a good romp in...

The BEST! I've put Pirelli Sottozeo's on my Golf. It'a great off-season car to drive.

Man, I would love a Golf R, but for now my other boxer (WRX) will have to do. I used to have a 2013 GTI and had nothing but issues with it. Had to get rid of it before the warranty ran out. I'd consider another Golf, but only the R, since that one is still made in Germany.

Congrats on the T.

Default US ride height vs ROW?

Do we know if there is any difference in ride height for US spec CTs vs ROW? I didn't think so, but looked at my cat recently and felt it was a bit high....
