Thanks to all for chiming in on LWBS. I have narrowed my search to a few existing T builds available. Not an ideal way to buy a 100K+ car but, too late to order. With each of the builds available, there are things I love and things I don't. It's got to be a manual and I really want rear axle steering. White, silver or black would be my color choices along with the 18 way seats. My top contender has the LWBS but, I worry about the access to the rear space which I love with no back seats. I know the LWBS do not tilt so, how limited is access? Finally, how feasible is it to buy another set of seats and retrofit depending on which seats I want to use depending on how I will be driving the car? Is the wiring harness still in the car where I could hook up the 18 ways or with the LWBS, is there just no harness at all present. I know I am asking lots of questions and as always, I really appreciate the feed back. Thanks in advance.
P.s. Crap. I saw it has a sunroof. Not sure if that is in your "ideal" build. Seats - 4-WSS+. These are what I've ordered and I think they'll be good. Good luck on your hunt!
So, I finally tinted all the windows on my T after much fretting about the Gorilla Glass. I went with Madico Black Pearl Nano Ceramic 45 on the rear and side windows and NC75 on the windshield.
My installer (Oz Braz in Gilbert, AZ) did an amazing job and absolutely no issues with the GG. Now I can breathe easier knowing I won't melt this summer!

Normally the windshield is the only glass that has UV protection built in, so I bought a high end UVA UVB meter to satisfy my curiosity.
Surprise surprise, the side windows and the gorilla glass also have UV protection built in. Readings were 0.0-0.01 inside the car right next to the glass with direct sunlight. Which is great and also matches my research on gorilla glass.
Interesting tidbit about UV on gorilla glass, thanks. I did Xpel Prime XR Plus 70 on the sides to beat some heat but am holding off on the front and rear b/c with polarized sunglasses I see "rainbow splotches" in all my ceramic tinted cars at certain angles.
With about 2400 miles on the clock thought it was finally time to try 7th gear on a short highway trip. Traffic averaged about 62 to 65 mph and the car did 33.4 mpg one way and 31.5 mpg on the return. Gees, I’m impressed! Not as much fun as my normal driving style but nice to know it’s there if you need it. Amazing cars!

Those are some AWESOME numbers. This car really is s Swiss Army Knife. I LOVE it.
Having had a few Macans and a Panamera previously, I got my jollies with launch control in the past and with 4600 miles on the T, I have yet to use it. So here's my question.
I will on occasion take off rather spiritedly from a traffic light. Why am I feeling what I can only call rough upshifting? Feels like a bit of a jolt. Is that normal? In my former Panamera, during launch control it kind of felt like a hit in the back of the head when it would shift. With the T just stepping on it, it's not smooth during upshifts.
Introducing myself as a soon to be new Carrera T owner. I will take delivery of a Guards Red, 7-speed manual in the next few days. I am very excited. I have owned a number of 911s with a 991.2 C4S being the latest. I had not really paid any attention to the Carrera T until recently and knew that I would have to have one after my first test drive.

Congratulations and welcome to the T Club! Enjoy it in good health.

would you happen to be in AZ? When I picked mine up today from North Scottsdale they were putting a sold sign in the window of the guards red T on the lot....

Many congrats on your T purchase! We look forward to some pictures when you take delivery.
I’ve done over 16k miles in mine and absolutely love it! Undoubtedly my best Porsche so far!
