I know....I know....what I have planned is I’m taking the car over to Vortex here in Tampa....they are going to rebuild the calipers and paint them red again. I’m going to think about what I’m going to do. I have to come over to Daytona in October for some sales calls at music stores so I’ll call you and stop by so we can talk.

FYI, you can ask me for any favors...anytime...always! ;-)

i would imagine they would. I never ran the car on the stock Pirelli PZero’s. I know some of my corner speeds are about the same as my 2012 997 GTS which had Nitto NT01, and Bilstein Damptronic Coilovers, GT3 adjustable sway bars, GT3 lower, control arms, and the car had the factory GT3 aero, package which I felt helped plus the car was corner balanced and I ran GT2 seats and 6 point which was way better in the corners. The 991 chassis is better but I can feel my 991 GTS drift more, lean more. If this 991 GTS had those type of mods I had on my 997 and I drove as many DE as I use to this 991 would be around 2:19-20 with me driving it easy.

I came up with a solution today I believe to fit 380mm brakes up front that will complement the pads and fluid going on the car. Over the next 2 weeks I'm headed back to the dyno once more and then next week I'm going to install everything on the car listed above.

These just showed up from Suncoast!

Those are factory GT2 bucket seats from Porsche; it's a Euro part number.

C'mon Dude! You can't make an exciting statement like that and not share! I want Brembo type 380 mm rotors but need a bracket and to know what pads. I already run SRF and love it. I finally have the correct Pagid yellow after being sent three sets. Won't fit them until I see about 380 and that may mean they need to go back for a fourth time. LOL

Round 3 of our 991.2 Base/S/GTS bolt-on testing is complete. I just got back from the dyno test of the catless bypass pipe from Cargraphic. No wonder the feels like it hits so much harder at 3K RPM. I think that if i had to rank the mods it would be 1.) Cobb 2.) Cargraphic Bypass Pipe 3.) IPD & BMC

As expected, the turbos are maxed up top which is why that stayed relatively the same. On run #2, we lost 10rwhp but hit the 500lb/ft of torque mark. I am however using all of my 1st runs in these comparisons to be as apples to apples as possible.

I will post the stock vs. all 3 below.

991.2 GTS Comparison (Cobb + IPD + BMC) vs. (Cobb + IPD + BMC + Cargraphic Catless Bypass Pipe)

Nice. Do you feel you are losing any power with a pdk vs the 7 speed manual?

Not in the least and the manual transmission cars dyno right on top of each other.. In fact, of the 4.0L X51 cars we have built, the PDK

Nice gains. What we still dont know is how much more power the bypass pipe produces when compared to high flow cats.
Maybe someone with those charts can chime in and compare to this chart..

Call me old fashioned, but $7K to pick up 100 horsepower and the wheels, 110 lb./ft at the wheels and 170 lb/ft at 3K RPM is a pretty good result!

Hey, thanks for posting!

Is this the 93 octane map? I hope someone supplies you with some free/discounted headers. This is a great thread!
