1st post - new to Porsche, reading this thread and loving the wealth of pics and information. Thank you especially to BlackOptic for kicking it off. Hoping that the T will be my first 911. Coming from a Volvo S60 Polestar I'm going to shave ~1k lbs.

You are welcome. Good luck with the ordering/finding process. Let's go for a drive once you get it.

Thank you much - there's one T in Bellevue, but black is a non-starter. I'm pretty early on in the process but may stop by and take a look regardless. After reading 62 pages of this thread, it's safe to say that the owners sure love these things.

Wait, you were able to request deviated stitching on the steering wheel?

Default Show of hands ... T owners going to Rennsport Reunion??

I know there are a few threads in the 991 forum regarding Rennsport attendence but haven't seen one asking specifically about T owners. So here's my attempt. Raise your hand if you're bringing your T to Rennsport! I probably should have started a new thread on this but here we go..

One week away!!

Where did you get the brakes? Did you change the rears also?
I had a deal with someone to buy his stock GTS brakes since he was upgrading to larger Brembos but he hasnt responded to me in over a month now since we had made the arrangements....
I was told it wasnt really worth going from the stock brakes to the S or GTS anyway but I still think it has to be some improvement....and I love the RED calipers on this car!

Should have painted them Yellow for even better performance, and you would've solved the brake dust issue!
