Yeah, that's my thought as well! Easier and cleaner. The whole thing looks more OEM with out the extra cables and connectors.

Are you using an older version of the NM kit? My kit has wireless AA/CarPlay and uses the OEM mic. I think there was an older version that didn't have these capabilites?

Yah I have the V1 NM Auto kit, which has been solid for me...I may just keep what works.

I just did the ZZ-2 system. I also added a back up camera and a front view camera. The system works great and I love that I can still switch back to the PCM easily.

That looks great!

How was your experience installing the front and rear view cameras?

I had a place do the install for me, but it did not take them long. They were done in about half a day.

Looks great. Any pics of the front and rear cameras on your car? Do you have parking sensors? If so, do they overlay on the camera image when they sense something?

Who did the install? I am in SF too, and have this on my list of upgrades but I am not comfortable with doing it myself.

I recently installed the NM Automotive kit and the recommended Natika backup camera. My only question is in regards to the dynamic backup lines. Is there a way to turn those on? I've currently got the static lines that come with the camera (and there are clear instructions as to how to turn those off), but I wasn't sure if there was a setting to turn the OEM lines on...

I have both front and rear parking sensors (2013 991.1) if that makes any difference.

Mine are dynamic if I remember right on my NM kit with front/rear sensors. Reach out to Nick, he's been more than helpful for me even as a second owner!
