The post below shows the recommended camera that I purchased as well. Functions very well and looks OEM.

I'm very happy with the resolution. I haven't tested it at night though, but the night time sample shots on the Amazon reviews sold it for me.

Camera works and and carplay is working. Now my question is I removed the Sirius piece that was on the board, does that also remove my standard radio, I have no radio? Didn’t see it in any of the videos so I from what I say it appeared it needed to be removed, now I’m not sure.

you don’t need to remove the Sirius board. Get taller stand offs that will clear the new board. Everything works as it should

Ok. I don’t use Sirus so I don’t care but if I don’t install it will the radio not work? It appears that is also the HD radio board. Appreciate it.

Members who have removed the satellite radio CB experienced a loss of radio audio. If you wish to have FM/AM audio, reinstall the satellite CB.

Ok. That’s what I was thinking. Do you know what size threads are for standoffs? M2?

There are two sizes that are popular that are used for our PCMs. Your PCM has either the 2.5mm or 3.0mm. There are multiple kits available in Amazon with both sizes. Buy one of each since they’re very inexpensive. Also look for a kit with standoffs in multiple (length) sizes. The popular sizes used in the PCM are 23mm up to 44mm. It all depends on the CarPlay motherboard since some are made to position directly over the four ribbon connectors while others are positioned directly over the satellite radio circuit board.

Thanks for the links and info. Mine came with the standoffs. So now that I think about it, I think I just need to set the board back in place and connect the harness. I appreciate the time thanks.

So I pulled it back out and installed the hd radio/sat board. Now I’m off center? I recall a fix but can’t find it in this thread. Little help? Thanks

Did you find help in the Seattle area? Local also and would be interested in hearing what you've learned.

I did not. I ended up taking it on by myself. Got it figured out. Took a little time but not too bad. If you go for it yourself let me know. I could lend a hand

Refer to post # 464 on this thread for a possible solution.

Thanks Sid. I actually pulled it back out bad check my connection on the new board and I think there was enough tension to where it wasn’t all the way in. Either way once reassembled and reinstalled everything works perfectly.

Has anyone had any issue with the Bluetooth? My unit was working fine but now the Bluetooth is turned off and wouldn’t turn back on anymore.

Any my idea what could be causing this ?
