Might have forgot some things, but I'll add to the list if it comes to mind.

Started to get down and dirty before the year end:

The machined parts so far. Head flange for the manifold and throttle body adapter to Hydraflow clamp system. I'm not using any Tbolt or silicones for chargepipes in this kit.

One of the manifolds is completed. Inconel 625, 1 7/8" tube .035" wall thickness double slip merge collector. It came out to 6lbs

What an awesome build by one of the nicest guys to work with in the business. Can’t wait to see you break some records brother! You deserve it! Keep up the good work and updates.

Thanks Greg, I appreciate the kind words. You have a nice build coming up yourself it's going to be a violent beast.

Bring your turbo so that we can see the difference with the 4L engine build!!

Pardon my lack of knowledge but what does « building » an engine consist of? How do you make it stronger? Do you change the pistons? Do you redo the lining of the cylinder walls? I’m genuinely interested, as I plan on keeping my turbo forever and one day the time will come when my engine (or trans) will stop working. (I drive it A LOT). Thanks man and can’t wait to see where this is going.!!

The engine build consists of forged pistons, rods and they bored and sleeved the motor to make it a 4.0L I also have some thicker headstuds, CNC headwork done as well. The motor is rated good for 1500whp.

Presumably there are some changes made around the head gasket/water ports as well to handle such high cylinder pressures, or is the stock head/block interface situation good (which would surprise me)?

Thank you Payam by the way I love your intercoolers.
when you say sleeve the cylinder walls, it’s so that it can withstand the pressure? With something other than aluminum I suppose. Thanks! If you have pictures I’d love to see that!

I wish I knew exactly what they did under there lol. I just got the basic information and what it can safely handle. I'll see if they can chime in on what they did to my motor exactly for those curious

Thank you for the kind words, they definitely work very well with OEM fitment! Yes, it's sleeved with iron so it can take more pressure. I don't have any pictures of my personal block, but this is how a sleeved motor looks:

Finally got some more stuff done, progress has been a bit slow because we had to catch up on some retail/production items. BMS stuff always comes first no matter what lol.

Anyways, both manifolds are fully done and bolted onto the car. We're finished the driver side intake piping and chargepiping.

We cut down the compressor cover and welded a 4" Vband for the intake/inlet. Tapers down to 3" connects to the do88 silicone intake to make things easier and quicker.
Surprisingly enough the intercoolers use the same style quick connections as BMW/Kia. Always have extra machined pieces laying around so we used those along with hydraflow clamps on the other side.
