It's not mine! (I just found this photo on Instagram).
...But it is almost EXACTLY what I have envisioned for my build!

Yes, just started up again and making forward progress after being on hold for over a month. Got the front mostly sorted out and now working on the rear. Having to order a few miscellaneous parts. Moving in the right direction!

Default 6/12/2020 update

*update
Car may still look the same, but it is much farther along now;

Front; Fenders have been properly fitted with appropriate brackets to hold vents in place. fender liners installed, RS lip and laterals installed on bumper cover, rerouted A/C lines installed, all shrouds in place... bumper cover will be installed on Monday and THEN the front will be complete and proper!

Rear: Decklid installed, wing installed, new engine cover Installed, center hole cut in decklid for Intake. Eventuri installed, Kline exhaust installed. *Needs to have latch plate clearance issue resolved, accessory wiring harness built for Plug n play solution and reocate GPS antenna.

Im hopeful that these things will be completed this coming week and it will be ready for the paint shop! 🤩

Default More Teasers!

Ideas...
(Some are already in the works!)

NEW rear model designation decals appropriately renamed as "Turbo RS"

(New "Turbo RS" Decal placement should look something like this):

Looking good!

How did you stop from getting an error with the active rear spoiler being deactivated? Did you have to have someone code it?

Thank you.
I haven’t done it yet, but the active aero will have to be disabled or coded out.

Great Car, Great Color and I greatly admire your diligence, time and large sums of money you are putting into your project.
But considering the huge costs of time and money you invested in your 991 TTS that you will never get back on resale,
why did you not just buy a GT2RS and be done with it?

Not my build or thread, but the journey is half the fun. Tinkering with your car is addicting.

A GT2 RS is still well over $300k, so I feel like my build makes a little sense! + part of the fun is sourcing the parts and figuring it out.

Indeed it is!

Meanwhile, a few other pieces have been fitted today;
😎
