Thanks Mlky! I just ordered the RS wing from *Wicked Porsche....this may eventually lead to RS fenders somewhere down the road. 🤔😳

the cool thing about the RS decklid / wing is that I can remove the uprights / wing blade and go for the “wingless” look whenever I want to be more conservative.

Moving right along...

test fitting front bumper. It’s OEM, so everything lines up perfectly! (We’re also going to adapt the parking sensors to the GT3 bumper over from the Turbo bumper)
🤩

Active Aero Wing removed!

I would have bought a GT3-RS and swapped out the motor with a TT-S and called it a day. Nice build though besides the rear wing

Unfortunately, THAT option would be waaaaay more expensive... + a GT car would certainly be more valuable later and to do that would devalue it significantly. On the other hand, a (TT) will never be worth as much. An RS tribute car will likely be a bonus to a potential buyer later on. Not that any of that really matters because I’m building it for my own enjoyment. Hopefully a few others will find the positive in this build.

BTW- Are you hating on my wing?

No sir, always liked all your builds but I am just not a great fan of that wing though. The metal arms reminds me of Honda crowd but I personally prefer the all plastic kind, flows much better

Default Eventuri intake ordered!

Had a slight clearance issue between the OEM airbox and the latch plate assembly for the new RS decklid.
Problem solved with this Beautiful Eventuri Carbon Fiber intake!

NOW, it looks like I will have to drive around without my bumper so everyone will be able to appreciate how gorgeous this thing is!!!
:LOL!

The priority is getting all the new body pieces here, properly fitted and off to the paint shop.... lots of parts on order through Porsche.
Thinking ahead about a tune, but not a priority yet. I have the new Eventuri coming and the car came to me with a Tubi exhaust with high flow cats, but we have checked the ECU and there is no tune present on the car. Being on a stock tune is good news to me! Now, I have my baseline and can have something to compare to. I am happy that I will be able to get a sense of what this car is about and get used to the current power before I start tweaking the power.

Researching tunes...
I would consider going catless, maybe intercoolers, intake plentium, but NOT interested in attempting to wring to 1000hp out of it...
I just want everyday reliability / drivability, but with a harder punch!

@SamboTT@ByDesign is the guy you need for a tune.
