Yes it is. Looks purple is some light, brown in others, or just black when it's low light.

New rear shoes!

Nearly $1,300 just for the rears.... PS4S rears lasting me about 6,000 miles, fronts about double that.

It is nice to have a mobile tire service that scheduled me the next day, has expertise in centerlocks, gets perfect balances and even has prices damn close to Costco on Michelins.

We did yet another 400+ mile day on Sunday!!

Had LOTS of driving time in the recent past due to recovering from my shoulder surgery. About to come to an end though, as I'll have to return to work soon.

Well yeah....

71K on original rotors, going strong. Swapped pads at about 66K miles prophylactically, fronts were at about 6mm and rears at 7mm. New is ~12mm, so pads about half worn. I swapped them as this Turbo gets some track time and thicker pads help protect those expensive rotors.

Love the PCCB brakes!

Didn't realize you were that high on mileage, I could just start to see a grove in it.

It definitely gets some weird artifacts on photos that aren't really there when you inspect directly...

And the PCCB rotors are “pre-cracked” which looks really wrong the first time you see it if all you’ve ever seen are steelies.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I recently used https://www.elevatedtire.com/ and they were great. They are very familiar with Porsche among other higher end cars.

Yeah, when I saw that on the TTS that I eventually purchased with PCCBs, I was ready to walk away. After a little research, I realized they all look that way.

Does your mobile service have their own torque wrench and center lock wheel guide or are they are using your tools?
