The local Motor4Toys event, now in its 19th year, brought out the riff raff of Turbos. Of course Kim @2018911TTS is always raising the bar, so he brought 2 Turbos himself (not sure how, but he left in only one - LOL!)!
A shot of his 9-second beast with my slow coupe in the background.

Two things stand out, one, the Michelin Alpins are fantastic, and two, I wish we had more snow because that was an absolute blast!
Predictable, entertaining, very much recommended!
That's a very cool pic - I want to take my TT up to the mountains. I have my stock wheels still, so maybe I put winters on them and take it up there. You're giving me inspiration.
Oh, do it! It is so much more capable in the snow than the 996tt is, eerily good in fact, almost made me think it was a truck as it would just motor through the snow.
OK.
After my previous mods of Eibach lowering springs, BMC intake air filter and BBi Race Exhaust with race cats, mufflers deleted, and Cobb mild stage 1 93 octane tune with PDK tune, today I had an IPD Plenum and Y-Pipe installed.
Next up is an aggressive Stage 2 93 octane tune by Sam @bydesign.
Now i can hardly wait to put all this together! with Sam's custom COBB tune!

Now things get real! The custom tune by Sam is the game changer. I would also recommend an intercooler upgrade - Sam can help you there too!
I had to make some mild modifications to make this work with the rennline mount. Basically, I used the ball that came with the mount and that went into the rennline bracket. So I removed the rennline ball. I was only left with the bracket. I hope that makes sense. If you need clarification, let me know.

like I said, if you need help, let me know. You just need to push the pin out that holds that clamp on and then go to the hardware store and get a proper sized nut to thread on the stem of the mounting ball.
Yes sir! These HRE Classic 300's clear Porsche's carbon ceramic brakes without any problems. Can be made for any version of 911 too. Any generation, any model.
