Not as inclusive as the Smoky 600 but Josh and his group put on a fantastic driving experience. You can choose from leisurely(?) to intense on some fabulous roads in the Tennessee/N. Carolina/Georgia area. Would give almost anything for roads like these in Illinois! https://www.rennsportdragonrally.com/registration

I've been on a DragonRally with them... Ran with the owner and his "Front" group (on my Conti's which were Not as good as the PS4S's) and they do like to go pretty quick. I stayed right with them and was even held up just a bit by a ZL1 1LE but it was a fun pace. Certainly don't need / want to go much quicker though, not on public roads. Only problem is you have some "heros" that do like to run up there and I had a guy in a red M2 that left the roadway Twice just in front of me trying to stay with the pack and keep me at bay. Luckily he didn't total his car but came close.
They provide pics along the routes as well. Good times.
1. Got a Fabspeed SuperSport X-Pipe installed
2. Installed CSF intercoolers
3. Full brake job, which my tech let me shadow then get in and work on it, which was sooo much fun. I definitely need to get a small jack and then stands, so I can swap the pads or my track tyres/wheels setup before an HPDE event. Also I learned, it's NOT WORTH SAVING THE SENSORS lol. Installed Girodisc 380mm Front and Rear rotors, Textar (Porsche OEM) pads, was a lot of fun. I watched some videos on YT and they said to replace BOTH caliper bolts at every brake pad & rotor swap, which seems excessive as mine still looked great, used brake cleaner and greased them up a tad for easier untorquing next time. Used a light radial steel brush to clean up the hubs, greased those up, and all good to go. CANNOT WAIT to see how these do on track.
I thought about getting the Giro GP30s, but their sales team said try the rotors with OEM pads first, and then see how they work, and can always upgrade to GP30s later. This is mostly my daily driver, so didn't want a ton, or really any brake squeal.
I feel 100% more bonded with my car, after doing this type of work. I'm a self-employed tax accountant (E.A.) and spend ~3000 hours annually in my office, dealing with about 525 clients, with only PT help, so being able to see and do this 'basic' job was a big confidence booster. Buying new sensors each time would've saved hours, which is what I'll do going forward for sure. Excited for my HRE FF11s and Yokies (track setup) to arrive and see how those do.
Wellp, I did something pretty drastic to my car today and sold it, LOL. My 991.2 TS was absolutely the greatest and most capable all-around sportscar/supercar I've ever owned, and I will miss it dearly. Next, I'm going to live out my midlife crisis with a more extreme supercar, but I'll be back in a Turbo S someday, likely a few years after the 992.2TS hybrid rolls out.
In the meantime, if anyone wants to buy my Soul sport cats (fits all 991 and 997.2 Turbos), let me know - makes for a great standalone exhaust upgrade or further enhances an aftermarket muffler: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1405617
Went color matching with rest of the interior with grey gauge cluster and grey SC. Took it to a mountain in an excuse of enabling GPS to set the clock right. Before after after before and after mountain drive.
^ Wow! Looks great! I'm a big fan of color matched gauges and SC.
I love yours too! The red's what I'm thinking of doing in my Cayenne TT. Since the mod in 911 TTS, I feel fairly confident that I could get it done in 1/3 of time on my Cayenne. Taking off the liner around the cluster was a big b*.
Let us know what you end up doing on jack/jack stands. I know a lot of people here just buy Quick Jacks but I'm tight on space and it seems like pulling it all out and setting it up would take a similar amount of time to just jacking up the car on traditional stands. I've considered these too which seems like it would solve a lot of the complexity around jacking up this platform: https://www.liftbars.com/
Definitely agree with the feeling of being closer with the car after wrenching but I haven't gotten into it with this car yet. Very nice that your tech let you shadow - would love to do that. I've considered using these if/when I get around to doing brakes as an alternative to new caliper bolts every time: https://tarett.com/collections/break...liper-stud-kit

I like the liftbars. I wish they were extendable so I can use it on other cars.
@gyh I did this last week. It was a pain to take all the wirings down and to install the wall unit for various reasons. Accidentally unwound the torsion springs and scared the f* out of me... Anyway, I did it to maximize the ceiling height. I'm thinking of installing Maxjax soon. https://www.lowes.com/pd/MAX-JACK-M7...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
For low ceiling there is no way to put a lift that goes high enough. Mine is barely 8 feet. Even with 911, there's not much room to lift the car to. Forget Cayenne. took this down to install wall opener. This alone was probably 2'. Wall opener Now the ceiling is free of everything minus outlet.
