Random derail question.... Feel free to PM me vs. posting...
Thinking of buying a set of QuickJacks... Anyone here use them?
Anyone have a suggestion on the size / weight / model for me to get for the Porsche's / S2K / Boxster / Camaro / etc.... Wondering if one of the 7000 lb sets would fit on them and allow me to use for my truck also?
Get one, use mine on all the cars, well worth the cost, easy to use.
Yup...what he said. And we also have the 7000lb one. Can alway put less weight on it, but if you get a smaller one and there's that chance you need the heavier duty one...you're covered.

Have a set (5000TL) I use them frequently.
Would I rather have a 2-post service lift? Sure, but I don't have the space for it and it's nice that the quickjacks store away when not in use.
I suggest you do NOT get any of the TLX versions... Those are extended frame length, and will be too long to use on 911's and similar sports cars. 5000 vs 7000 decision is just cost and weight of the jacks themselves. 78 pounds vs 98 pounds (each frame, if you want to use the wall hangers and hang them on the wall might make a difference. And if you would ever use them on something over 5K?
Costco often has good deals on both the 5000TL and 7000TL online.

Of course a two post lift would be great but for what I do or will do myself in the future, I assume these will do the trick. I'm no where near as talented and brave as Paul and many here. lol
I guess the 7000 would be over kill and still not enough for my Mega Cab Diesel, the 5000 makes since. Long as it'll lift her 2014 Cayenne S.
