ANYTHING with 1000+ WHP is going to be fun, then, and now.

Ugh, I sold mine

Watched the new owners take off for Florida in it knowing they got an awesome car and will drive the heck out of it. Going to wait out the Midwest winter and see what strikes next year. Also have two cars on order….if they ever actually produce and deliver them….

Re: MKIV Supras...a buddy of mine had a silver 1998 automatic with a T67 turbo...beautiful car, he kept it in pristine condition.
He co-owned a piece of property with his brother and his brother wanted the Supra, so my buddy had it appraised for value to use as a trade for a portion of the property value.
Came back at $116,000...needless to say he got a heck of a value for that car.

Got to love cars that aspire in value like that.

Reg Reimer. Knew him well up to about 20 years ago.

Not a big fan of the 2JZ myself but up to 750hp or so they are a good solid motor.

Reg tuned my Type R, and provided electronics support when I was building my STI...

Good guy, don't know if he's still in it.

After 30 years, I know for sure I have no idea how to guess which cars will appreciate or become classic collector cars.

I just knew these idiots driving up the mkiv supra values because of some dumb movie will eventually realize it's just a Toyota, so I better sell while the market is *hot*, else I miss the window of opportunity.

I was sure the NSX was a cool looking Honda Accord, but eventually people will recognize it's not a real sports car and values will drop accordingly.

I saw the Integra Type R as Acura's way of capitalizing on this boy racer madness that created cult followings that were destined to be a passing fad, and soon everyone would realize it's a fancy Civic not worth much more than them.

The only thing that seems to be working for me is buying the 991.2 TTS during Covid.

Not sure. I was in three One Lap of Americas with Reg. I've had that car in my rear window a couple of times. With a little more than half the power, I couldn't keep his driver there long, though we did beat the car in '99 in a Peter Farrell RX7. Reg had a friend (Mark Love) that drove the car, and Twingles (Emmanuel Crouvisier) drove it in 2000 to more success.

Drove the car today. Did some canyon drives to PCH and to Supercar Sunday for the first time in years. Felt so good to have it back on the streets again, I love this car.

Had a great time at INDE Motorsport Ranch this weekend. First time running at that track. My Wife and I did the two day event with the Arizona Porsche club. I got to say this is my favorite track so far the elevation changes and off camber turns makes it challenging. Not to mention we went clockwise the first day configuration 1 and Sunday we went counter clockwise configuration 5. Really starting to love this platform on the track. It's funny though the looks and comments you get bringing a TTS to the track from the GT guys. It's all good though.

How do you mean? Curious about this, as my first time at a private track day with a local group went really well and the GT guys were very complimentary of the TTS. They knew I'm a novice driving at 3/10 ths of the car, but they respected what the TTS can do out of the box and shared their admiration for it. Was it not the same way for you?

It was nothing negative at all. They were just surprised that someone would take a TTS to the track. Everyone one was real supportive. I run in DE3 with the Porsche club. Most of the drivers in that class are pretty quick.
