Oh man that looked so freaking fun! Great driving. Did you feel like you almost lost control at 2:22?
It's a blast. re: 2:22 when I made that barbaric yawp sound - I think it was the first time I had really felt ABS kick in. I recall making a similar exclamation while in my CTS-V years ago... See around 2:30 -
Those three hard-left corners leading into the three 'straights' mid-hill encourage carrying a fair bit of speed into a pretty short braking zone. All told though I have never put a tire off-track as my lizard brain does what it can to try to keep me shiny side up.
Ticket purchases for Rennsport Reunion 7 opened up today!
Purchased my 4 day ticket, paddock, & corral pass for my Turbo S and 72 Targa! My wife and I attended the 2018 Rennsport event and had an absolute ball. Porsche NA puts on an amazing show.

We are thinking about it, can you elaborate on the best parts of the get together?
Search on YouTube for Rennsport to see a bunch of videos on the past two events.
Rennsport is the largest gathering of Porsches in North America. The last event drew 80,000 attendees over the 4 days. There will be 3000-5000 Porsches parked in the Corral, it's an amazing site. Ever seen 25+ 959's parked in the same spot next to about 50 Porsche tractors?
Porsche North America sponsors and runs the entire event. Porsche will bring close to 100 street and race cars from the museum to the event. The Privateer race teams will be present as the event includes historic racing events.
Future vehicles will likely be on display. Last event it was the Taycan. Next years event will likely showcase the Mccann EV and the new LMDh race car plus some surprise specialty model unveil.
The last event officially opened with the President of Porsche North America, "tapping the keg" to kick off the event. How do you go wrong with that?

Even better pics from the Dragon Rally. We had our own KillBoy photographer on this trip. He go ahead after each stop and be set up for pics. Here are a few from him.

I'd love to drive that route, it looks like fun.
One of the youtubers crashed his GT3 on the Dragon very recently, truck pulled right in front of him.

Yeah that was AdamLZ on YouTube...big channel. He did have a 2022 Turbo S at one point. I don't follow his channel much but my buddy John with the yellow ZO6 does.
Seeing as how they are in my back yard, I made it out to the Dyno Day hosted by EvoSpec and ISC Tuning this weekend. It was great to meet John and Wayne in person as it is always a pleasure to pick the brains of people with that much knowledge/experience building and tuning these cars. And of course, @SamboTT@ByDesign made himself available to make a few tweaks and review the graphs to make sure everything was looking good down here in the desert. I was pleasantly surprised to see the car still manage to make 899/668 on one run and 906/670 on the following run using a mainline hub dyno in the AZ heat.
I am looking forward to seeing what the stock rods/clutches can handle and then either graduating to a built 4.0 to really turn things up or jumping ship to a V10 which seems to be the trend around here lately.

Holy crap! Did you go with bigger turbos? Please share how you find the stock clutches holding up in the future.
