I was mid 6’s before in this heat. Meth is like nothing else - everyone told me that before, but I still didn’t understand until now.

That's impressive man! All mods included I'm sure your picked up over a full second over just having a tune.

My best with my 100 oct. tune in very low DA cool weather was 6.07 secs. (tune / exhaust only)

So with your mods and meth in the same conditions I bet would be close to 5 secs. Flat!

Again...I'm jealous for sure. If I has a shop around here that could do the quality work of some of these around the country, I'm probably would have already done this.

That's huge! Do you have any pics of the tank install?

So glad you are enjoying it P! Always a pleasure working with my buddy Brian and you know him… we can push all night to make sure you’re good. Very happy with it and there’s always room but this is a solid daily file you can beat on.

Thanks man! It’s a journey and I’m really hoping this checks the speed box for a while. Also, I’m going out on a limb and saying Sam knows quality shops all over (including ATL) that would handle the business right!

Thanks! I’m really happy with the results - will get tank pics shortly.

Thanks again Sam! I’m not looking to set any records so the tunes you gave me are the perfect balance.

Been awhile since I posted an update on my car... last week I put on a set of BBS FI-Rs that I got from Eric over at Supreme Power (highly recommend him btw) with some sticky MICH PSC2s that are 265F/325R... Saved right around 10lbs of un-sprung weight which was more than I was expecting and it does offer noticeable improvements in steering and driving feels. Very happy with the mods so far and they look great on the car.

Over the weekend I went to Road Atlanta for the first time as a driver and put down some laps in the car. Awesome track and one of my bucket list tracks for sure. Best time of the day was a 1:43 and the car can go much faster, only thing holding it back is my courage...

Well, I suppose this could have happened on the road, and would have been wayyyyyyyy more irritating.

I think that's the fault code I get when my O2 sensors don't get a good sniff due to the spacers / no cats.
Read and Delete and it rarely comes back. Haven't had one in a long time.

Hasn't impacted the car; going down to the shop at 0800 - they said I could wait for it, so probably nothing serious.

I still have my cats.

Reset the right side gauge. Stick a piece of black electrical tape over the check engine light in the middle gauge. Fixed. Easy peasy.

Yeahhhhh.... Shocking.

In other news, and a bit embarrassing, the engine code was in fact from the last time I refuelled on my trip, I managed to get the little strap that holds the gas cap to the car stuck between the filler tube and cap - this throws a code, as well as demonstrates ones ability to do silly things when tired.

Doh!
