I've been considering the same arm rest, but they don't list one for a 2019. On trips around town I use the paddles, so I've got both hands on the wheel. But, other times when using cruise control, it would be nice to be able to rest my forearm comfortably on the center arm rest.

991.2 already has the extended height center console cover, 991.1 has a lower cover. I bought a used Porsche crest cover for a 991.2 not realizing it won't fit a 991.1 console without additional parts.

(Finally) met @2018911TTS (Kim) and his "Clark Kent" Turbo this morning. Couldn't be a nicer guy and his knowledge about these beasts appears to be bottomless.

Thank you for your time Kim; next time I'll bring the Turbo and leave the Italian at home.

Big "thumbsup!"

Ok this was about a week ago but then had to move my freshman daughter in to her college dorm in the interim.

Sambo and World Motorsports helped me upgrade my 991.1 TT to Stage 4. What we added was the following:
  • Turbo's - 991.2 TTS 68MM VTG Tial
  • Intercoolers CSF
  • ByDesign do88 Inlet pipes
  • IPD Plenum
  • Updated Tune
They dino'ed it in almost 100 degree weather on 91 gas to 634 WHP and 633 Wheel Torque - so a pretty significant bump from where I was - no meth or race gas for now .. I don't know what the driveline loss from motor is, but if you estimate at 15% - its in the 740-750 HP vicinity. I really didn't want to sacrifice reliability or daily driver ability of the TT. Obviously I cant talk to reliability just yet, but so far this car is really strong. The performance difference is very noticeable without any sacrifice to response or being able to be somewhat under the radar. First few times of really punching it - I was like whoa that's cool. I know I could add some performance with better gas or meth - but for right now i am going to enjoy the fact that this feels so much better and I have something to potentially look forward to if I decide to do that.

The Kline system (headers and exhaust) sounds different (better) after the mods. Its still relatively quiet in normal and when not on the gas / pottering around town. But in sports mode and when on it, its gotten louder and throatier - more pleasing to me. It sounds like a car with this level of performance should sound from the factory vs what it sounded like stock.

As usual Sambo was a real pleasure to deal with. Very communicative and responsive and always ready to help. Thanks so much

The Coke, our internal provincial cross highway, is still undergoing some massive construction to get it fixed from last October's devastating storms, so times got cut down there a bit, but overall, I managed 122kmh average over 1000kms, or 8 hours 13 minutes door to door, so not bad, but not my best. Rain from Kamloops to almost Valemont, construction, it ain't how it used to be.

Car ran like a dream, front spoiler didn't fail, killed lotsa bugs, lady friend 'says' she enjoyed herself... do it all again tomorrow heading south....

A - that's a cool drive - scenery looks great and no better car to do it in. Very fast, effortless power and also comfortable. Enjoy tomorrow! Don't get too much skinnier - you're making me feel guilty .. Diet starts tomorrow..

Thank you Sir; hit the target at the beginning of the month, so the final loss numbers were 145lbs, so I'm pretty sure I've picked up at least a tenth in the quarter...

Feel no guilt, the choices we make today, dictate how we grow tomorrow, good luck with the diet, rooting for you!

Yes, if I was to go a little slower, pretty sure I'd enjoy the scenery more.... lady friend liked it though, so that's something.

Oh, ok. Thanks! Wish Porsche extended the height just a little bit higher, tho. LOL. This is why I like the forum because of the wealth of info here.
